The sorority girls get in over their heads when they fight back against Ford, but then he accidentally dies! Or was his death really an accident? Meanwhile, the girls summon superhero Max to the sorority house for an all important task of disposing Ford's body. More spoilers for the first week of December include:
- Lucas and Kate are apparently back on speaking terms when they team up together.
- A conflicted Roman is forced to arrest his other ex-wife.
- Belle can't get Philip out of her head as she makes love to Shawn.
- Sami is torn between two men.

I absolutely cannot stand this actress who plays Belle. She has turned one of the most beloved heroines on the show into an awful person that no one even likes anymore. Also, the “new” Shawn is a nice actor but totally does NOT fit the part. Bring the REAL actors back who initiated these parts; if Days can’t get them back, send these two lifeless characters off the show until they CAN get the original actors back.
Also, I loved the redhead who played Stephanie before this new actress came on and turned Stephanie from someone we could recognize as Kayla’s daughter into this bimbo who loves free-for-all sex. I personally have no pity for her at all as regards her supposed “rape” by Ford. She is a pretty girl but she is NOT Kayla’s daughter.
A smart thing for Days to do would be to bring back Abby, whom EVERYBODY loved and put her in a viable story; now SHE is an actress with supercouple potential (with the right guy, of course).
These other two–Stephanie and Chelsea–are absolutely pathetic when it comes to being half of a viable supercouple. Days has really fallen down in the casting department. If we must be forced to watch young people, at least let it be young people we like!
TOTALLY AGREE with the other email. I HATE this “story line” with Belle and Philip. I have watched Days for over 30 years and am about to quit - I am so sick of Philip’s whining. Belle and Shawn need to finally get together and be done with it. The soroity girls crap is disgusting too. It seems like everyone on this show is highly spoiled and whiny - I would “beat” my kids if any of them acted like these people.

I must agree with the other comments about how the story lines have gone. The Shawn/Belle/Phil bit is sicking to say the least. Belle does nothing but whine all the time, Phil needs to get a life if that is possible with all that money. I would think girls would be falling all over themselves to get to him. The EJ/Sami bit is getting old. How many times does Stephno have to die before he is really dead?! And how long before Sami finds out that EJ can really walk and Lucas is the REAL father to Johnny? Lucas is the one she loves, not EJ. I hope Marlena does kill Stephno for good this time. Get rid of the teenagers at college bit. I have watched Days for over 35 years, and that type of story line is a real drag. At least when Chole, Belle, Phil, etc. were in high school, they acted like high school kids. Now at college, they are a bunch of brats that never go to class, seem to party all the time, and have some of the dumbest story lines around. BRING BACK JOHN BLACK!!!! How about Abby, Jack and Jen even. At least they mentioned Vivian and Alice. It’s no wonder that the ratings have gone in the dumper. Maybe the writers strike will do something for the story line. One can only hope improve it. How can it get much worse?
Ok, lets just bring John Back and bring him back as John Black, next put Sammy and Lucas back together. What is the problem, everytime someone is in love or getting married, they either love someone else or someone has to break them up. enough already with this story line, it is time that you move on and leave couples together, that we love together. Bring Chloe back for Phillip, bring back dr. craig and his wife they where funny. Bring Dr. Mike Horton back for Billy. Let change are tune on this show. Come on already.
I have a question about Days.
Did I miss something in Friday’s episode ? I thought Lexie’s last day was Friday. She didn’t really do anything at Belle and Shawn’s wedding except stand around. How was it explained that Lexi left the show ? I am confused on this one. Also, I thought Alice should have been there for the wedding. How could she travel all the way to London to be with Jack and Jenn like someone said. After the Christmas episode I maybe done with Days. I just don’t get this show anymore. I really used to love this show. I have watched it almost 30 years or so now off and on.
I also miss the old Stephanie and I don’t care too much for this new Cordy so far as well.

Friday, November 23 was supposed to be Renee Jones’s (Lexie) last day on the show. I’m as confused as you are, since she didn’t get much of a send-off. She and Abe were present at Shawn and Belle’s wedding, but neither one of them uttered one word of dialogue, so at this point I’m not sure what type of explanation the writers are going to have for her absence. Jett got a disappointing send-off as well, as his last day was Wednesday, November 14. I’ll have more thoughts on this later! I’m with you, I don’t get many things on this show anymore either and was surprised to hear on last Friday’s show that Alice was spending the holidays with Jack and Jennnifer in London.

I have been watching Days for years and this is the saddest days of OUR lives to see how this show is going down hill. We truly need our past characters back. And, all of these unfaithful marriages is sickening. I would really like to see the College groupie out and bring back the love, family and challenges we used to enjoy. I have faith that something will change and that is a better storyline and more years of Days. I will keep watching for now and hope that the producers and writers will take into consideration of what we fans are saying/suggesting.
