'The Today Show' Interviews Deidre Hall

Deidre Hall (Marlena) took time on Friday, May 30, 2008 to chat with co-hosts Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb during the fourth hour of The Today Show. The lovely lady who has portrayed Dr. Marlena Evans off and on since 1976 discussed her work, life, and love in this five minute interview. Hoda and Kathie Lee marveled how great Deidre looks after all these years, noting that she's happier and stronger than ever and looks exactly the same in a “natural” way. I couldn’t agree more. Deidre briefly discussed playing Dr. Marlena Evans after all these years and how she never gets tired of playing the same character, describing Marlena as "strong and growthful."

Additionally, Deidre discussed Eckhart Tolle’s book, entitled The Power of Now and describes it as “so enriching and transforming.” She shares how she’s co-hosting a radio webinar every Monday night, which focuses on staying in the “now” or current moment. Kathie Lee then shifts the discussion to Deidre’s two sons, who are now teenagers. Deidre admitted that she had kept them out of the public eye for a long time, since they were exposed to the media for a while after their birth. She also smiled how she took her son to the Annual Revlon Walk for Breast Cancer for the third year.
