People Magazine has learned exclusively that Alison Sweeney (Sami) is expecting her second child. The lovely actress and hostess of The Biggest Loser reportedly made the revelation to her Season 6 castmates Monday night, June 23rd. Alison and her husband, Dave Sanov, have one son named Ben, born February 25, 2005.
Whether or not DAYS will write Alison's pregnancy into the show remains to be seen. I for one am hoping that the character of Sami doesn't become pregnant, as I feel she has too much on her plate already. This is joyous news to the actress and her family. Heartfelt congratulations go out to Alison, Dave, and Ben on this wonderful news!
Updated July 5: The July 15, 2008 issue of Soap Opera Digest confirms that Alison's second child is due on January 20, 2009. The actress jokes, "Ben was right on time, so we'll see if this next one is as prompt."

congrats to Ali and Dave! I am thrilled for her and her husband. I would love to see them write this into the story. I know Sami has a lot on her plate but it would be great if something wonderful came out of the special night Ejami fans were given. The Ejami and Lumi fans were both disappointed with the wholes/l.

Tell Corday, we all would really like for him to use your real life pregnancy to go along with the great epasode you and EJ had that ended up in bed! That was one of the best heart ot heart performance anyone has given!! This way also we all could follow along with you and your real life pregnancy! Kinda like the “next ting to being there”!!!
