Christopher Whitesell Named as New Co-Head Writer

New Co-Executive Producer Gary Tomlin has recently hired Daytime Emmy Award winner Christopher Whitesell as new co-head writer. Whitesell will serve alongside Head Writer Dena Higley.
Whitesell has extensive experience in the daytime industry. His writing credits include Guiding Light, General Hospital, As the World Turns, One Life to Live, and Sunset Beach. Additionally, he wrote a 1987 episode of St. Elsewhere and also wrote two ABC Afterschool Specials back in 1988.
Tomlin and Whitesell previously worked together before on Sunset Beach from 1997-1999 and again on One Life to Live from 2001-2002. Whitesell was also a staff writer at DAYS from 2000-2001.

i hope with this new co writer and dena that the show will go back to the dr dan and chelsea. they have a lot of supporters, but there is someone (a writer that is destroying this couple, and if the story line is changed we will no longer be watching days.
VERY VERY TRUE Linda. There are many Daniel & Chelsea fans out there. I am hoping he will fix this current storyline and get them back together. Because granny s*x is just not on!.
