I am very concerned about Daytime television. I was watching a Soap Opera which I have been watching for many years. But I must say I will not be watching anymore. There has to be a point where enough is enough. I mean yea time changes and things or shown on television to drive up ratings. I get that. But tell me what is so good about a grandmother sleeping with her granddaughters’ boyfriend. What are we saying to our children? My grandmother is passed on and she was a lovely lady and to see grandmothers put in that light is awful. Enough is enough. Someone needs to bring this to the public view, that it is disrespectful to all grandparents. The Soap Opera is question is Days of Our Lives. This Madness needs to stop.
I have watched days from day one. It started as a nice family, with real problems and how they all worked together to solve them. Over the past few years I have stopped and started everytime they have a stupid impossible situation, i have over looked the devil in Marlana, the kidnapping and return of almost everyone at least once. Now induced comas, gas in a sealed off hospital section, mind erasing. Lets get real again or get gone for good. If it stays as stupid as it has been lately, I will be glad to see Days, gone
Stacy: I agree with you on the Kate thing - its downright nasty, pure and simple and on top of it didn’t we go through this with the Nick and Billie thing already?
I have watched Days since I was in school and back about 3 or yrs ago I stopped watching it and started back again about 6 or 8 mos. I am disappointed with all the sex on first date and all that along when there are so many other things that they could be doing as to teach young people as well as the older that you do not have sex on first dates or second or third and I know the world does that today but we can teach teenagers not to do that. Have the girls and ladies on the show to have pride and say no. The other story lines are alright except they do stretch them out so long. But I can remember years ago, it seemed like 4 yrs before Mickey found out he could not have any children when he and Laura had one and it was Bill’s. That was a well kept secret.
I have watched Days for along time but anymore could care less the story lines are completely stupid. If they don’t change things I m sure everyone will decide to stop watching too
Oh please… do you know how much crap there is on tv? Have you all forgotten that this is all “fictional”? If you don’t like it, don’t watch it. If you don’t want your kids watching it, don’t let them. Stop criticing and watch another channel, leave the soap operas for those who enjoy them. Yes, sometimes the storylines get a little dirty and perhaps surreal, but that’s why I have a DVR, so I can forward through the stupid storylines.
I’m like everyone else. I think the storyline of Kate and Daniel was toooooooo much. Then I got to thinking about it I remembered that Kate has by all rights got to be in her mid 60’s according to all her kids ages and ole Daniel must be in his late 30’s. Anyone with any sense knows that most young men don’t want to get tied up with any OLD woman….regardless of how drunk he was or is.
Besides Kate is the local “pass-around-pack for the city of Salem as there isn’t anyone besides Mikey and Doug that she hasn’t jumped into the sack with.
Grandmothers donot sleep with grand-daughters boyfriends. Is there nocode of family honor anymore? I know ’sex sells”, but rilly this is going to far. I once became engaged toa guy that had gone with my cousin but even I didnot go that route. Lets us have some family loyalioty here. There r plenty men out there and one doesnot need to go this way. To stap a family member in the back by sleeping with their guy is unforgiveable. If days writters cannot come up with better material than this maybe they should go off the air.

I wish Billie would come back. Now that would be a couple to watch… Daniel & Billie.
i agree with u daysfan4ever guys if u dont like it stop watching it… yes it does get stupid sometime but we r still watching the show…
well seems everyone is focused on just Kate I mean check out the whole storyline got to love John and Marlena and I am glad they spiced all that up and I am so waiting for philip to crash somewhat, I like him too but i want to see John off the hook there but give me a break the show is great so much better than it was a year ago. it was old and stale so I say if you don’t like it don’t watch it and try to spoil it for others who do like it.
Let Chelsea forgive Daniel. They are both in love with each other. The fling with Kate was in the past. Daniel and Chelsea are a hot couple and they have chemistry. GO DANIEL AND CHELSEA
I am utterly disapointed they have decided to do a triangle with Chelsea, Daniel and Kate. Kates interference has always been for what is best for her family. To add Kate in the middle of Daniel & Chelsea makes no sense at all!. This is a rewrite, which is pathetic and terrible. Seems to me that the writers don’t care about the future of DOOL and are running it into the ground.
It was comical about Chelseas boyfriend sleeping with her grandmother.(the comment that is). That is real unusual as most grandmas in reality are not that glamourous.
i forgot to mention chelseas mom took Nicks virginity even though chelsea was mean to Nick that was crappy then here she gets another one and her grandma sleeps with him. 3 generations.
Days is my favorite soap. i DONT watch any thing else. I have watched it from the first day it ever started. I adore it. yes some of the things do get boring or stupid and crazy.. thats why its called a SOAP.. But I as an avid fan will watch it until it is no more.. So PLEASE dont take it off.
I think it is silly to go down the same road with Kate as they did with Billie, BUT, yet AGAIN Daniel was NOT Chelsea’s boyfriend at the time that he and Kate hooked up! Also, as far as grandmother’s go…there aren’t too many grandmothers that look like Kate, lets face it. Daniel is somewhere in the middle (age wise) between Chelsea and Kate, so I don’t think it is so far off base that he would go with Kate. I just feel bad for Chelsea that she has to endure this yet again! But hey, it knocked Daniel off that pedestel she had him on…now maybe Nick won’t look so bad to her! LOL
Daniel looks quite a bit older than Chelsea, he does look more Kates age. The way chelsea said about her grandmother and Daniel was comical.I saw something to the effect of a zany talk show. The granny sure was not as pretty as kaTE
PUT DANIEL AND CHELSEA TOGETHER. GIVE THEM A SECOND CHANCE THEY DESERVE IT. GO DANIEL AND CHELSEA

I love watching days !!!!! but i hope Chelsea forgives Daniel and John and Marlena get together again. This is my favorite show on t.v. and i hope they never take it off the air.
why is it that the producers decided to let the arfician american child have autism?
I would like to know why did the producers decided to let the black child have autisum?

I don’t believe it was the focus or intention of the producers to purposely seek out an African American child for this storyline, just coincidental, since Abe and Lexie’s child happened to be the right age. Besides, it gives James Reynolds and Renee Jones a chance to showcase their acting chops and be involved in a significant storyline other than Lexie’s affairs. They’re doing a great job with it!
Hi all, I have been watching days for a long long time now and ROMAN IS 65 YEARS OLD?!?!?!?!?! must admit, he looks pretty good for his age. And i wouldnt mind seeing sammi and nicole get into it a bit more, they are funny and entertaining to say the least!
