Mary Beth Evans to Appear on 'Law & Order: SVU'
Mary Beth Evans (Kayla) will return to primetime when she guest stars on NBC's Law & Order: Special Victims Unit this Tuesday, September 23 at 10 p.m. ET. If you happen to miss the episode this Tuesday, you can catch it again on NBC Saturday, September 27 at 10 p.m. ET. Mary Beth will portray Dr. Eichenberry, in which she gets to wear the familiar white polyester doctor coat just as she does on DAYS.
Mary Beth has written a DAYS insider blog in which she tells how she landed this primetime role. She recounts how she had a conversation with Bruce Evans, NBC's Senior Vice President of Drama and Daytime Programming, at this year's Emmy's. Bruce tossed around an idea for DAYS actors to cross over to the primetime shows which he oversees. A few weeks later, he came up with this part for Mary Beth.
Mary Beth describes her experience in New York and how the atmosphere on the set of Law & Order: SVU was easygoing, casual, and familiar, which reminded her of being on the DAYS set in that respect. You can read about more about her experience on the DAYS insider blog.
Whether this means that we will get to see other DAYS actors cross over into NBC primetime remains to be seen. Don't miss Mary Beth's special guest appearance this Tuesday night at 10 p.m. ET.

I watched law&order to see Mary Beth and was very disapointed. Good story line. Not enough Mary Beth. They only showed Mary Beth very breifly 1 time, not near enough.
