It's no secret that several Salemites wanted Salem University Physics Dean Trent Robbins dead and threatened his life. On the Friday, September 26 show, several of them alluded to the fact that Trent would no longer be a problem. At this point, Max, Melanie, Nicole, Caroline, and even Nick appear to be the prime suspects. However, on the Monday, September 22 show, we saw Victor making a call to his henchman Nico, wanting him to take care of something in regards to Trent. What could that "something" possibly be? I'm sure I'm not the only one who noticed this on Friday's show, but Steve was just entirely too quiet during dinner at Chez Rouge with Bo and Hope, like he was preoccupied with other matters. While the police gather all their suspects, Victor will be the one to produce the evidence to prove that Claude sent a hitman to take care of Trent. Since Nico was told by Victor to follow Trent, he also filmed all of Trent’s visitors. Victor’s actions will help his relationship with Bo, and bring Caroline much closer to him.
