Who Should Philip Hook Up With?
It's no secret that Philip Kiriakis has had his fair share of being unlucky in love. He fell for Chloe Lane back in 2000, but she eventually chose Brady Black over him. Philip married best pal Belle Black in 2005, even though she still had lingering feelings for Shawn. However, he ended up bedding Belle in October of last year before she married Shawn Brady. He fell back in love with his ex-wife, but she left Salem to sail around the world with husband Shawn. His old flame Chloe Lane Black returned to Salem just last year, and the two eventually formed a "friends with benefits" relationship. It briefly appeared that he was on the verge of a relationship with Morgan Hollingsworth, but she couldn't forgive him for the threat he made against her father. Morgan left town for an internship in Chicago shortly after seeing him kiss Chloe at the Brady Pub. Philip couldn't deny that he was in love with Chloe. However, she's currently involved with Lucas and her life will become even more complicated when Brady returns in November. If you haven't yet read the November Sweeps, Philip will offer Stephanie an internship at Titan, but will they become more than friends? Who would you like to see him with? I think Mimi (Farah Fath) should return with her baby. And Philip should be with her.
I agree that Mimi should come back. I LOVED her character and miss her. It would be a great story line for her to come back with Phillip’s baby.
Phillip found his and Mimi’s baby and adopted him out to a nice couple. As an adoptee, I know the heart-break this can cause and the guilt gees. Let us not go there. Let us leave this baby boy with the only parents he hasever known and have a “hands off” policy.
An ideal woman for Phillip would be none of the before named girls. The ideal woman for Phillip would be a new comer to Salem. She would be slinder built, an inch or two shorter than Phillip, long long blonde hair, blue or hazel eyes, very mature, with a susseful carrer in law. She wouldnot be extremly rich but well off finacelly.
Philip should be with Chloe. That’s the true love story here. Philip and Chloe have the history and chemistry to make a sophisticated and dynamic duo. Philip thrown together with these random young girls is just irritating and makes no sense.
Mimi (Farah Fath) should return, Phillip should tell her he knows about the baby and was adopted to a loving family and start off a new relationship.
Philip should definitely be with Chloe. I know DOOL is determined to ignore a lot of history like Philip/Chloe and others, but that is part of the problem. Hooking up Philip and Chloe randomly with others does not work because there is nothing beyond the writer’s intent to create a new plot. Philip/Chloe have a huge backstory. I remember him saying in his teens that whatever happens he will always love her. It was intense and meaningful. If I recall that, so do others. It’s hard to watch both characters in loveless hookups when you know there is so much between them. The actors also have awesome chemistry and their looks are a bonus. Just last month Philip could not deny he’s in love with Chloe. Now there’s nothing said about it. Another dropped storyline. What a let down for so many people. And DOOL wonders why it’s on the brink of cancellation.
