DAYS Songwriter Releases Christmas Single and Debut Solo Album

Days of Our Lives songwriter Jd Webb has recently released a Christmas single entitled "Everything I Need This Christmas." Award-winning singer, songwriter, and producer Jd Webb has crossed over to R&B-Soul with a pop sensibility after formerly being known as a staple in Christian pop music.

DAYS fans may recall that earlier this year Webb wrote Max and Stephanie's songs for the show. The songs entitled "Right Here," "If Only," and "I'll Never Let Go" played during the April 2008 episodes when Max and Stephanie shared a romantic dance and then made love.

Webb shares, “I wanted to write a Christmas song because I felt like there weren’t many R&B-Soul songs out there during this time of year. The song is called ‘Everything I Need this Christmas’ and it's about having the people you love around during the holidays-- to me, that's what Christmas is all about—the simple things like loved ones getting together.”

Jd Webb has been noted as a prolific songwriter by both Rolling Stone and CCM Magazine. Additionally, he's been an esteemed recipient of Billboard's "stamp of approval." After being a staple in Christian pop music, Web has decided to cross over into R&B-Soul and has decided to pursue a solo career through his new music label called Infinite Music Group. His self-produced debut solo full-length album entitled The Introduction is set for release February 10, 2009.
