Deidre Hall Video Chat
In a chat which would normally be available to Deidre Hall's fan club members only, the lovely actress graciously answers fans' questions in her home. The chat, which took place in December 2008, is divided into three parts and is available on her official website. Deidre is very down to earth with a delightful sense of humor and has her twin sister, Andrea Hall-Gengler, her son Tully, and her contractor Gordon in the background. As fans may recall, Andrea portrayed Marlena's twin sister Samantha Evans from 1977 off and on until 1982 and also portrayed Hattie Adams from 2000-2001.
In addition to answering questions from fans and recalling some of her favorite moments on DAYS, Deidre does give a bit of spoiler information away regarding her final days as Marlena. The John and Marlena storyline is wrapped up rather quickly, and as fans may be aware, the last day for Deidre Hall and Drake Hogestyn is on Friday, January 23. John does get his memories back and Marlena helps him by reminding him of moments in their lives. They get married, and he seeks treatments in Switzerland. Deidre also clarifies that there are no plans to bring the characters back.

Very enjoyable chat. Deidre has such a great sense of humor. I’m disappointed with how quickly J&M’s storyline is being wrapped up and that everything basically happens in one day. But what more could one expect from a show that decided to get rid of its two most popular stars?
