The Days of Our Lives weekend has been recently been announced. The fun-filled annual event will be held Friday, May 29 until Sunday, May 31 at the Sportsmen's Lodge Hotel, 12825 Ventura Blvd., in Studio City, California.
Stephen Nichols and Mary Beth Evans (Steve and Kayla) will be having their event on Saturday, May 30 from approximately 11:00 until 4:30 p.m. More details to follow as soon as they become available. Visit the Unique Soap Boutique website for updates.
Days Charity Events will be hosting an evening cocktail party on Saturday, May 30 from 6-10 p.m. in the Garden/Gazebo area. DAYS stars will be announced as soon as the information becomes available. There will be hors d' oeuvres and a cash bar. All proceeds from this event will benefit the Leukemia Foundation.

Without Steven & Kayla you might as well go ahead and cancel Days, I wont be watching anymore. After over 35 years!!!!!
And I thought the network was trying to save DOOL, but apparently they are planning the demise what with all the firings of main characters lately. What ARE they thinking? DOOL is a part of me. I started watching it in 1964!
Why are they taken off all of the best people on Days. Its not the same show as it once was.
Just cancel this show already.
It’s unwatchable and who wants to watch a finale consisting of Melanie, Max, and Stephanie?
Four veteran characters/actors are gone now, bring them back for one week and end the show with some class and dignity for us long time viewers.
25 years of Days here, and it ended last November.
I have been an off an on fan of dayssince day one.. When they ended the story line of Steve/Kayla & Shane/kimberly way back when I quit watching then my long time friend would call & tell me one of them was back on. I really thought John & Marlena was going to be the next Grandpa & Grandma Horton because so many of the veterans would go to them for advice just like when they went to Alice.
NO INSTEAD THEY FIRED THEM. We have waited for months now for Steve & Kayla to get a story line & NOW THEY ARE FIRED. I WAS EXCITED WHEN TONY & ANNA CAME BACK NOW TONY WAS FIRED.
KEEP IT UP WRITERS OF DAYS & YOU WON’T HAVE TO HAVE THE SHOW CANCEL YOU JUST WON’T HAVE NO FANS WATCHING DAYS ANYMORE.
If you think making DAYS a more younger cast most of your fans have been with you since day one.
Before you fired anymore I am sure your fans could come up with a list to let go & it sure wouldn’t be the list your coming up with.
This is what I would do is:
1. Let Chelsa for in love with a man that mom or grandma is going to hop in bed with. I always thought Nick & Chelsa was cool together. I then thought Daniel was cool I like how Chelsa seduce him then they turn the story around and grandma had slept with him.
Now Max & Chelsa would be ok together unless they have him go sleep with Hope.
2.You could send Stephanie with Dad & Mom when they leave the show. They had a hard nose woman the first time that was the grease monkey & now all we got is a WHINY SPOIL LITTLE BRAT & take her sly lier boyfriend Philip with her.(Matter of fact murder those 2 and leave Steve & Kayla on. You give them a second baby after all these years and you didn’t even give them a storyline with them, but wait fans give them a few years down the road and they will bring back the youngest Johnson after the fans that joins on or us veterans that forgot about him and they will have him a bad boy just like they killed the story line of Jermey{Mike & Robin son) Nick none of us ever new who he was we didn’t even no he existed until they brought him back the nerd was kinda fun watching & when he left they have him falling in love & wanting to save BABY WHINY STUPID BLONDE MELANIE you could have found a cooler sister for max instead of a BRAT. You could FIRED her to. No big lost of days.
3. Lets go to the storyline of EJ, Nicole, Lucas & Sami. I like how after the rape of Sami. Sami marrying another whiney Lucas(you could put on your FIRED LIST to me no big lost. Then they made a story with EJ & Sami and I love it because for once they had Sami with someone that didn’t know Sami so when he fell in love with her it was really and they finally let Sami fall for him too. But NO why should they let Sami be married & happy. They bring Lucas & Whiney #1 lier back. Nicole the Bimbo and they let EJ fall for Bimbo & they had the storyline of supposely both children were Ej’s again but wait one has to died & fans we have another baby switch now how many storylines of switch babies have we had over the years. Well I hope everything blows up in Nicole the Bimbo face also it would be funny if that isn’t even EJ’s baby & it turn out to be Lucas, remember Sami didn’t know this time either.Days could FIRED HER TOO!
Now we have Rafe & Sami they would be a really cool couple together cause he also knows nothing of Sami’s past & he also is falling for Sami and her baby, no wait she has Mia’s baby.
4. When they brought Stephano back it was to end all this with the Brady’s. What he turns John into a robot that kicks back and was cool & funny then the story line got old & sicking. Guess what were told that John & Marlena was going out with a good ending. What! the last day you send him off with his memory,but wait we can’t have them just happy to be back together and to go off somewhere and enjoy themselves. NO THAT’S TO EASY AND THAT’S WHAT THE FANS WERE HOPING FOR WE CAN’T HAVE THAT. INSTEAD WE HAVE ANOTHER nut from Days that has to get John’s memory back & take away the rest of his body & send him to far far away (Europe)to see if a doctor has anadope to fixed John. So instead of sailing off in the sunset like they did to Bo, Hope & Shawn years ago and then they let 2 more favorites go off into the sunset Shawn & Belle and their little one. Marlena & John got to fly instead. Wonder how Steve & Kayla will go off?
4. The best line they ever gave Stephano is when Marlena gave him that shot that left him hearing but not able to speak or moved. They should have left him that way for the rest of days.
5. I also didn’t like the fact that they turn EJ into a bad guy like Stephano ISH! That’s what I think of that.
So here is my list that I would
FIRED or LET GO.
1. Stephanie can leaved with Dad Mom & new baby brother.
2. Stephano give him another shot.
3. Phillip, Lucas Kate.
Since they had Roman & Kate married which a lot of fans actually started liking Kate. Then that was short lived Roman got murder for the upteenth time. When they did bring him back they put Roman & Marlena together & John & Kate together and when it’s over John & Marlena is together & Roman & Kate goes there separates ways. Neither one of them have a life. See Kate has so much time on her hands that she sleeps with Daniel. Considering marrying Stephano and then there’s Victor who also doesn’t have a life.
I know send Victor, Kate, Philip & Lucas off into the sunset with NO RETURN ADDRESS.
Roman has never been Roman I remember him as Chris K——–can’t remember how to spell his name. He was never Roman.
4. MELANIE/NICOLE–Take the “TWO BLOND BIMBOS”
5. ROMAN he has no life but following the book when someone breaks the law. They should have made him Chief of the Police Dept. Left him there you would see him more.
6. You could make Daniel & Chole sex teachers when they weren’t screwing. Doctoring is not for him & Opera is not for Chole this time around she either in Lucas bed or Daniels’s. They call Daniel a pervert & Chole could be his nympho. To bad they turn Daniel into a pervet{he is really cute}& to bad they have Chole being such a bit– & a nympho they are cute together. Has Daniel ever told his dark side story of why him & Chelsa couldn’t be together. Neither one really don’t have a story line.
Maybe you writers could ask the fans how they would like days to go. Because to me your
NOT DOING A GOOD JOB. To me your doing a ROTTEN JOB.
Let’S see fun couples together.
1. EJ{the funny/good}or Rafe & Sami & make the Twins both EJ”s.
2. Brady, maybe he could turn Melanie from a whiney bimbo into someone cool & witty.
3. To bad they couldn’t bring back the first Shawn & Belle.
4. They could bring back a Mickey for Maggie.
like the first one. Not a old old fart like the second one & not one as young as the 3rd one. Do you really think that us faithfully fans don’t remember what the Mickey that was on. The second one that they try he was old enough for grandma Horton.
Has anyone of you longtime fans remember when Mickey met Maggie he had amesia & she couldn’t walk and he went out & bought her those red shoes. So they could go dancing.
When Bo & Hope got marry & they stage it for that guy to stand in for the bride with Larry Welch and they rode off on the motorcycle.
Or the first time Marlena met the very first Roman and he slept on the floor in her apartment because he wouldn’t leave her because someone was out to murder her and that how Marlena got the name “Doc”. There’s so many good old stories. How about when Grandma Horton made donuts for Bo when he was in jail. Those donuts heal everything through out the years. Grandpa Horton being in a bar that read poetry. Such great stories then the children growing up are either liers, seeing who can get the best guy,whiners, switching babies. Your days get worsed every day.
The story line of Abe,Lexie & Theo with the Austim story line was simple boring I couldn’t get Lexie her being a doctor and all. You would think she had so many resources and she acted so dumb. Yes she is a mom but she’s lucky to be a doctor at the same time.
Sorry for all the complaining but I am totally pissed off with DAYS right now.

4. Probably Anna too! She hasn’t had a story line in ages.
5. When are they going to take Bo & Hope their about the only older ones left.

I have watched Days since I was 7 years old. I can’t believe what they are doing to the show. The worst they did was to let “John and “Marlena” go. I don’t know how much longer I can stay a true Days fan. Anymore I don’t care if I miss a day. It’s just not the same. What a pitty!!!!!
I’m 53 and have watched days since it began, I remember rushing home from school to watch it with my grandmother, As much as I would miss Days, if they’re going to take off all cast members like John, Marlena and now Steve and Kayla they might as well cancel the soap now. What’s next, taking cast members Bo and Hope off!

I agree with the lady about what is wrong with the writers. Well you have mess the story up. I can’t believe you are leaving your fans with endings we don’t even know about. Steve and Kayla you should keep and get rid of Nicole what a bxxxx she should of been shot and in Sammys place. We are all tired of her scemes.
Why don’t you have the people who are popular and who people watch the show to see like Marlena and John, stay and like Anna and Tony and Max and Stephanie.Sammy and EJ Cloe and Daniel and get rid of Stephenio, Melenie, Nicole, Lexie, Abe, and start making the show where everyone wants to watch again. Or you can have a comedy like the one soap I won’t mention that had a dwarf and a witch and they are off the air now.
So I use to rush home and watch and if I missed a day I use to call my friends to see what happened. I would stay home and not go anyplace because I didn’t want to miss anything. Now I hear about these actors getting fired. What is wrong with the writers are you all young and new to the show?Don’t you realize that the people who watch every day have been watching a long time are not young they are older, and middle aged we have made your audience up not the younger ones. Come on lets get the show right. We watch and some of us consider this our other family.

I have been a faithful fan and have watched Days since day one, without John , Marlena, Steve,Kayla, Tony, Chelsa, the show is not nor ever will be good without the most important people that really kept the show going, yet you still keep that worthless Nicole going and her story line sucks, bring our main people back to the show and give them a reason to be true and loyal to their fans, Days has went to the dogs
I think they need to fire the writers of DOOL instead of firing all the actors that I love on the show.
Days has been butchered. Without the best characters Days has no heart and no soul. The worst are all that remain thanks to a terrible producer Gary Tomlin and Days worst writing staff.
Corday has sunk to new lows.
After years of watching Days I have turned it off forever.
Under these circumstances with no decent vets and a bunch if really unpleasant new characters, Days is not something that deserves to air.

I’m sad they are cutting the aging actors. Makes me feel old and disposable too. I’ve been watching since high school, I’m 52, and getting tired of all the lusty youngsters. Love Rafe and Sammy like crazy. But I’m gonna give it up unless they stop cutting out older characters . I got downsized at work and know the feeling. All of us are middle aged and no longer stylish. Guess I’ll go back to watching Y & R, I see Catherine is still around! It’s so sad that Sammi finally gets a good guy, not a drunk or rapist, and they take away her mom & John again. Oh, Days of our LIves is gonna be history soon!

I have wathched Days of Our Lives since i962 and have been so happywith it until the past few months. I deplored the leaving of Drake and Diedre. and now with Seven and Kayla Days has lost a lot of its character and cohesiveness. Te show now has a “splintered effect”.
hey you know what daysof our lives was running strong in the 60’s and it still is in 2009 i really dont appreciate what all of you are saying days dosen’t suck and they shouldn’t cancel it the characters are way better now the storyline and everything is getting suspicious but good and lets face it… its better now than it was then
the original actors are too old for days. they have to move on and introduce new actors to the show. I have watched days a long time and it is good to have a new cast of people. I find it just as interesting now as it was back when the old cast of actors were on.
I have watched DOOL all my life and my mom before me! I have weathered the ups and downs, (killing Roman and replacing him with a younger hotter actor oh my!) But this is not the Salem I know and loved for over 30 years! It was always about family first, but there is no Horton/Brady/DiMera anymore. EJ is a dirty rapist and not man enough to be a DiMera. Then they have nasty, orange glow doctor McPervy Jonas and he is supposed to be hero?? For what? The oompa loompas?? Give me a break! This is the show that created Marlena, Kim, Kayla, Hope and Alice! Where is the strong women at? Not Chloe! She is too stupid for words! Melanie and Stephanie are about as smart as a rock too. I am amazed that even written characters want these weak, whiny women!
Then they can Marlena and John, one of the last supercouples left. Then oops, Steve and Kayla were never given their story they deserved and they are now gone too.
Now they bring back Vivian and Carly?? REally? These two are supposed to be the Messiah for Days? It just makes it easier for me to FF through. I hated Carly when she was around the first time, despise her this time. She isn’t a strong woman, she is a nasty shrew who needs to fly away again, or get buried in a grave and forgotten.
Bring back the love and adventure for the characters. Stop writing these stupid quadrangles for characters most of us don’t like! Show the veterans more. Kate is fabulous when they write for her, so give her a life! Maggie can act, show us that again! Where the hell is Caroline?? She can’t stay in the kitchen forever! She needs to be there to bust Bo a good one for being stupid! Give me smart Hope back and let her kick Carly’s tail like my Hope would have.
They can have new characters, but they need to integrate them like they used to. Steve was never supposed to be more than week long stint and he became a power house! That is what good acting does for you!
