Patrika Darbo's Upcoming New Roles

By February 3, 2009

Follow me on:

Former DAYS star Patrika Darbo (ex-Nancy Wesley) will be appearing on the Sunday, February 8 episode of the ABC hit series Desperate Housewives, according to Soap Opera Digest. Patrika will share scenes with Eva Longoria, who plays Gabrielle.

Patrika Darbo has also been cast in the new Paramount animated film entitled Rango, which stars Johnny Depp as the voice of a household pet who goes on an adventure to find his true self. The film is directed by Gore Verbinski and also stars the voices of Isla Fisher and Abigail Breslin. March 18, 2011 is the scheduled release date for this film.

DAYS fans may recall that Patrika portrayed Nancy Wesley, Chloe's biological mother and the wife of Dr. Craig Wesley, from 1998 until 2003 and made appearances in 2004 and in 2005. In the beginning, Craig and Nancy plotted to push Dr. Mike Horton out of the chief of staff position at University Hospital. It was eventually revealed that Nancy was Chloe's biological mother, and after some testing Craig was revealed to be her biological father.

Congratulations goes out to Patrika Darbo on her new roles. A return visit to Salem is highly doubtful, but it would sure be nice to see Nancy again, considering Chloe could use her mother's guidance right about now.

Thanks for the news about this. I wish Nancy could come back to Days as well. Days has just gotten so out of control. I also rarely watch Desperate Housewives much anymore at all. My show on Sunday nights is Brothers & Sisters. I just love that show and Sally Field and the all star cast. I just love the Walker family ! :) I hope this show lasts a long time.
