Congratulations goes out to all the nominees for their excellent work on DAYS this past year. I'm thrilled for Julie Pinson (ex-Billie) as well, especially after she was wrongly let go from DAYS early last year. The talented actress has definitely made her mark on As the World Turns. Of course if you want to know which scene Darin Brooks (Max) submitted for Emmy consideration, just read my interview with the talented young actor. As I previously mentioned, James Scott (E.J.) did not receive a nomination because he chose not to submit anything for Emmy consideration, as he revealed to me in a February 2008 interview.
The 36th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards ceremony will be held on Sunday, August 30 at 8 p.m. ET on the CW Television Network. The award show will take place from the historic Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles, California. Vanessa Williams will be hosting this year's show.

What? Nothing for James Scott? You’ve got to be kidding me!
james scott did not sumit anything why?
Ari should have been on there because she deserves an emmy for when she did the miscarriage cuz that scene was emmy worthy
Did you not read the linked interview, #1 and #2? James Scott did not submit anything, because he did not feel he had anything this year worth submitting. That may change for next year. He’s had some pretty intense scenes lately.
Hi Everyone,
I actually added the sentence about James Scott in my blog after Sue mentioned him, so thank you for bringing that to my attention. I had a friend on Facebook who also wondered why James Scott wasn’t nominated, so that also prompted me to add his name to the blog here. He is a very modest gentleman. Hopefully he’ll decide to submit for next year!
Sami is the best and she is not up for anything.
