Alison Sweeney Receives MDA Directors' Award
According to the MDA, Alison Sweeney (Sami) received the highest philanthropic achievement honor from the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Alison, along with award-winning vocalist Ace Young, recently received the MDA Directors' Award at the July meeting of the MDA Board of Directors in Los Angeles. MDA Chairman of the Board Dr. R. Rodney Howell presented the awards to both celebrities.
Both Alison and Ace Young were honored for their outstanding contributions in MDA's battle against muscular dystrophy and related disease. Both of the honorees are MDA Ambassadors who help spread the word about MDA's dual mission of help and hope. As many fans are aware, Alison volunteers her time as a co-host every year for the annual Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon, which takes place during Labor Day weekend.
Congratulations goes out to Alison Sweeney on this outstanding award!
