Alison Sweeney Pens 'The Mommy Diet' Book

Celebrity mom, host of The Biggest Loser, and DAYS's own Alison Sweeney (Sami) has signed a deal with Simon Spotlight Entertainment to pen a new book entitled The Mommy Diet, according to EW and other sources. The Mommy Diet is a guide to looking and feeling fantastic before, during, and after pregnancy which combines diet, nutrition, and self-care for women to follow. October 2010 is the scheduled publication date for the book.

Alison Sweeney adds, "Having two kids of my own, I am one of millions of women facing the challenge of balancing motherhood with a career, not to mention trying to find time for ourselves. That's why I'm excited for this book; to share the tricks I've learned and the advice that experts taught me along the way to give insight into how to care for yourself when every instinct is to first take care of others."

Alison has indeed learned some good tricks along with expert advice, since the busy mom, actress, and host looks fabulous, especially after having two children of her own. Kudos to Alison for inspiring other busy moms to feel beautiful and to take time for themselves.
