It's been over a year since Melanie Layton, Max Brady's biological sister, arrived in Salem. In recent months, we've seen a much nicer, more sensitive Melanie who just wants to be loved like everyone else. Surprisingly, I found myself feeling sorry for her once Philip ran back to Stephanie and asked Mel to keep quiet about their motel romp. Who would you like to see Melanie hook up with? Perhaps some screen time with Chad wouldn't hurt. After all, Chad and Melanie's portrayers, Casey Deidrick and Molly Burnett, are dating in real life. Take a moment to vote for your favorite choice.

I don’t get Phillip at all anymore. Maybe Melanie should be with Chad and the younger people. I loved Chad’s scene with Maggie the other day about her getting on to him about being in her house. One thing I have enjoyed this week is NOT seeing CRAZY KATE as much. I still wish she would go. Thank you Days for giving us a break from her this week.
I think Nathan would be right for Melanie. Philip is a little too old for and Brady is way too old for her. Chad is a little too immature for wanting to go through Mia’s diary. Nathan is the best choice.
Nate and Mel.. I never liked Phillip with Mel.. She is to young and he treated her like crap after they made love.. Melanie deserves real love.. Someone who only wants her =)
Whiney Stephanie can be with Phillip.. Jay Kenneth Johnson is hot but I don’t like Phillip anymore.. Mel deserves better..
I think Mel should move on to some one who would care for her and not use her(Phil) or believe bad about her at the drop of a hat (Nat)or someone who is in high school and crazy about someone else (Chad). At this point there is one one on the show for her maybe they should get Jesse Metcap, they got everyone else from Passion…..
I don’t think they have found the right guy for Mel yet. So far, I haven’t liked her with any of the guys on the show. She needs someone who is fun and exciting. I can’t see Mel with anyone who is boring. She’s like Caliape and needs a Eugene!
I liked to see Melanie paired with EJ, like our website http://www.ejelanie.com.. Ej has been hurt a lot by Sami and Nicole and Mel and him deserve fresh starts with a couple.
