With only 4 soaps left soon what will happen to the Emmys next year?
I can’t believe ATWT wasn’t nominated for more and didn’t get a nomination for best soap, even. I’m so disappointed.
Eric Sheffer Stevens (Reid Oliver) and Van Hansis (Luke) didn’t get a nomination for younger actor or supporting actor…REALLY?? I have never cried so hard in my LIFE over a television show/soap as when Reid was killed and Luke’s reaction to it.
Michael Park was decent, yes, and I’m glad at least he and Colleen Zenk got nominations, and the writing team definitely deserved a nom, but others were also more than deserving.
I think the few nominations for ATWT were a total slap in the face.
I miss that show daily…it was a part of my life. And the final year was incredible, in my humble opinion.
As much as it’s been complained about here, I’m shocked that Days received a nomination for writing! Boy, no wonder soaps are going down fast. They’re scraping the bottom of the barrel if the writing on days is among the most worthy of nomination.
