Has anyone noticed DOOL is making us smile and say Ahhhh – not roll our eyes and say “really, how stupid do you think we are”

With the touch of comedy too, I hop this is sign of thins to come, Thanks Ken.

Sami & Rafe worrying about going out on the town, Jen & Dr Dan worrying about how lucky they are and Maggie & Victor just enjoying life.

You promised to bring back the romance, good job.

Can’t wait for Sept 26

I TOTALLY agree with you, Ellerbaker! I’m a huge, huge fan of realistic character study films, and seeing a lot of it on a soap, just elevated and raised the bar in soap standards.

*****BRAVO!*****

Note to Gabi: Girl if you have to TRY to get a guy in bed, you might as well move on. He ain’t interested in you Gabi–like NOT AT ALL.

Am I the only one that does not receive the newsletter until Monday?

The writing is on the wall for Will. He will realize he is gay.

I love the direction Days is taking. I haven’t a complaint. My only thing and it’s just cosmetics for a change is that they redecorate some of these tired old sets and get rid of the purple, plum, burgundy, tan scheme they have got going. It’s been the same for far too long and mostly all the sets need a change just like the soap is changing and becoming better. People redo their homes and businesses all the time. That hospital needs a new colour scheme, too. How about some soft greens, verdant blues, warm greys, bold blacks, ivory, silver, creams, and soft reds to interject some life.

acdc, Days is doing just that, starting this month. :)

i’m with you,acdc..& while they’re at it, how about a new “do” for Kate..she’s married to one of the most powerful & richest men in Salem, but dresses like a frump..and whats with the purple streak in her hair ???? ughhh

@Lorrie—Thanks! Glad they are. And to those who don’t like Lauren Koslow’s hair, I love it! She wears the colour well an d she is a rebel at heart. She looks like she can get down and dirty with a rock band or go to an elegant state dinner. She’s always tasteful in clothes and I adore her in menswear! I used to wear menswerar to work all the time and I loved it. She is a wealthy woman of power and wears it well.

Oh…@Lorrie….If you know anyone that can pull some strings, can you please get them to get the powers that be to show DOOL on the NBC website to those of us fans who live in the UK. Normally I would not be living here but, my husband who I had a storybook romance with on the pages of FB and married is from here and I’m with him. It is disheartening to always wait for YouTube users to upload and they can only do it in parts. If Days and NBC/Sony Pictures want to increase their viewership, they should make available all video and full episode content worldwide. Fans like me are everywhere. Hulu and Fancast do not work here either.

I agree with you acdc. I think that Kate’s hair and the way she dresses is just fine. Kate wouldn’t be kate without her do and the way she dresses. She needs to be left alone for now. lol

And Patsy, yes… I get the newsletters on Monday a lot. I sometimes get it sooner but not much. And I started thinking that Days was turning toward a gay Will a while ago. I think that it will make for an interesting storyline for Will. Hmm, I wonder who his partner will be. Any ideas?

I have a question! Why is “Days only a half hour show? The reason I ask this is, because we see only 10 minutes of Days and 10 minutes of commericals. Which equals out to 30 minutes of Days and 30 minutes and ads.

@Terry–It is FCC regulation that for every 20 minutes of programming, there is 10 minutes of commercials. So, when you watch a half hour show, you are only getting 20 minutes of actual programme. When you watch an hour, you get 40 minutes of programme. Now, if you add that all together for a day, a week, a month and a year and then add in all those hours of infomercials, you are hardly getting any real first run programming. Remember to figure the endless repeats into that, too.
