Ian Buchanan shared a few tidbits about his upcoming Days of Our Lives gig in the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest. His character, Ian McAllister, is clearly going to be a force to be reckoned with, and he's going to stir up trouble -- quick!
"He is super rich and powerful," explained Buchanan, noting that "in just a few days, Ian manages to ruffle many feathers."
Exactly whose feathers you might ask?
"He is going to be involved with Madison, and he has a past history with Kate," reveals Buchanan.
Buchanan, a vet of General Hospital, The Bold and the Beautiful, and All My Children, has already worked with one Days star before: James Scott (EJ). Buchanan played Greg on AMC, while Scott was portraying Ethan.
Buchanan begins airing on Days on February 9.

Really don’t care about Madison or her past. I wish she would just leave town with or without Brady. Those two have no chemistry at all.
I agree with fancypants. Madison is BORING, and she makes Brady totally lame and cheesy. Leave town Madison and find someone better for Brady or Brady should leave too.
about Ian…don’t like his attitude, don’t like his smug look as a matter of opinion don’t like him at all. Never cared for him on amc and the other soap,either and not looking forward to scenes with him on Days either!!
TOTALLY agree with both of you…they are such a yawn…was never sure why and then when you said they have no chemistry it hit me..that’s exactly it. Chemistry with each other or on their own either way…they’re both “stiff” and unbelievable…maybe just not good acting? Not sure. I FF through their scenes every time!
