Days of Our Lives' Will and Sonny Have Sex

By October 26, 2012

Follow me on:

Massey and SmithAfter months of waiting "Wilson" fans are finally getting their wish. Days of Our Lives' Will and Sonny have sex on the show's November 14 episode.

Actors Chandler Massey (Will) and Freddie Smith (Will) talked to TV Guide about their characters' big moment.

"[It's] refreshing to have a couple in soaps who haven't been thrown together too quickly," said Massey. "We took our time before getting to the sex, and the characters and the show are better for it."

Smith added that the scenes are "very real and passionate but tasteful" and that taping went extremely smoothly.

"Chandler and I were much more nervous about our first kissing scene," admitted Smith, adding that he and Massey "are comfortable with each other and it shows... We trust each other."

You can read the whole TV Guide interview and watch a video clip of the scene, here.

(4) Michelle says:

So excited. People this is 2012 please get over your fear of reality. Will and Sonny are two people that just happen to be gay and they love each other. Now they are finally acting on that love. Go Will and Sonny! And go Days!

I can’t wait for this to air. They looked hot, but will kind of looked nervous.Sonny looked more confident. They look great together.

I can’t believe this soap is doing this. Just sick.

October 25, 2012 at 7:17 pm
(7) jerry says:

I love this storyline. Thank goodness Days Of Our Lives is willing to show some slice of reality. Will and Sonny are two of the most likable and realistic characters on the show. It’s so refreshing to have a storyline where it’s not just the same thing over and over again.

And to all the disgusted longtime viewers who are ‘grossed out’ by two consenting adults that love each other, perhaps you should ask yourself why you enjoy a show that prominently features infidelity, murder, rape, kidnapping, lying, medical record switching, blackmail, etc. and ask yourself why those things are easier for you to handle than two people loving each other.

Well said Jerry! To each is own.

I am so disapointed in Days…..I will no longer watch it….sick

October 26, 2012 at 2:17 pm
(15) Natalie says:

The scenes of Will and Sonny’s relationship turning sexual should not have been a part of daytime tv. If a child sees this and acts on it in school without knowing the ramifications it could prove harmful to him and subject him to bullying. Any sex scenes should not be a part of daytime tv. Showing them being affectionate to one another would have been enough, the adults get the picture. Please stop drawing so much attention to this storyline or lose long time viewers.

October 26, 2012 at 2:30 pm
(16) Diana says:

I have watched Days from the first day, but today is my last. I have numerous friends that are gay, but they DO NOT have sex in front of me or push their ideas. Your agenda is out of line and I personally resent it. You have had some weird story lines, but it was fantasy and did not push an agenda.

Bye bye Days.

October 26, 2012 at 2:37 pm
(17) Quinny says:

Good bye homophobes! Days didn’t want you as viewers anyway!

October 26, 2012 at 3:07 pm
(18) Suzanne says:

I am disgusted with the writers of Days of Our Lives who have sunk to an all time low in destroying this popular and previously interesting show. It is clear that gay persons support this, boast and brag about this turn of events that has dragged this show down by having two promising and well liked actor on the show now subjected to this story line. Frankly, I can’t even watch these two men kissing, it is sickening and repulsive to see, and I do NOT want this viewed by children. Is this the purpose of this disgusting gay pushing event on the show, to publicize and encourage gay relationships? Well, it isn’t working, and it is shocking and disgusting to see a popular show thrown in the gutter by writers who need to be replaced. NAUSEATING!

October 26, 2012 at 3:15 pm
(19) Shannan says:

I have been watching Days for over 30 years now and love it still. But this Gay thing I feel is going too far. I would like to see less sexual content in the field. Maybe a hug instead of a kiss and we will get the message. Thank you. Days of our life fan.

October 26, 2012 at 3:24 pm
(20) A.M.P. says:

I have been a fan of the show for 20+ years and i just think the viewers who have been loyal to the show for that long or more are finding this new change, just Wrong, its one thing to know this is happening out there but to have to see it on one of your favorite shows, makes me sad… You should take a poll of how your long time viewers feel… All I can say is thank goodness for DVR so I can Fast forward what I dont agree with.. Or I can just not watch… I am glad to see that not Everyone on the show agrees with it and maybe that’s why I am still watching, I guess if and when Everyone one on the show excepts than thats when I will quit watching.. Ill still continue to fast forward thru those scenes though!

October 26, 2012 at 3:41 pm
(21) Shannan says:

I have been watching Days for over 30 years and I still love watching. Only this Gay thing is going a bit too far in my book. I know this type of relationships are everywhere. And we have a choice whether we want to see it on television. Maybe the writers can change the sexual content of the story like a hug instead of kissing or having sex we will still get the message. I have to agree with the other comments this is a bit tasteless and I really would hate to see ratings drop do to this kind of conduct . Over all I am satisfied with the rest of the show.

October 26, 2012 at 4:21 pm
(22) Shirl says:

I hate the will an sonny thing, I fast forward thru all of it. I hate that they throw that in our faces thinking that is what we want to see is 2 guys having sex and kissing all the time. Yuck

October 26, 2012 at 4:51 pm
(23) BLONDIE says:

I have watched days since 1965 faithfully, i have watched a lot of over the top stuff. i am not really bothered by the whole wilson thing because i have a lot of gay friends, they don’t really act like you have sonny and will acting though. it’s ok that they are gay but we don’t really have to watch a sex scene to get that message across we are almost all adults here so we get it..but i do know that there are children watching with there mothers or grandmothers out there that you seem to be forgetting about. your imagination is a wonderful thing and if that doesn’t do it for you rent an adult movie.

October 26, 2012 at 5:17 pm
(24) Michelle says:

Some of you make no sense. It is ok to show other couples having borderline porn sex? But it’s not ok for Will and Sonny to have a respectable love scene that is filled with love and longing to be with each other? I find that highly offensive. Will and Sonny are just two people that are in love. Quit putting a label on them. They are two human beings that love each other and want to make love to each other. It’s hypocritical for them to not be given the same opportunity as any other couple.

October 26, 2012 at 5:25 pm
(25) Jane says:

I have never been more proud to be a DOOL fan. This is the Days I remember from the 1970′s. Realistic, human stories. I LOVE IT!!!

October 26, 2012 at 5:47 pm
(26) Karen says:

You Go Michelle!!
I AGREE completely!! It’s 2012 people … GET OVER IT … There are gay people EVERYWHERE and I’m finally happy to see Days show one realistically – albeit in soap opera fashion.
I love that the actors are so comfortable with their roles. It shows a definite step forward. BELIEVE me … what Days will show is tame compared to what shows from other countries show between two same sex people. Sadly we will not see any nudity on Days.

October 26, 2012 at 5:53 pm
(27) Ellie says:

I’m a 62 year old, straigjt, white female. I thought the scene between Will and Sonny was tasteful, and so endearing! They are adorable young men and their kiss and kissing was great. It’s about time there was a gay love story. And anyone that thinks it is wrong need to open their eyes. It’s a part of life and their story is just as important as say Sami and everyother straight male! Well done NBC!

October 26, 2012 at 6:05 pm
(28) Tammy says:

I have watched Days for over 40 years, It used to be based on good morals, But now with the Gay storylines, it is disgusting, I feel this will be the downfall of Days of our Lives, I will no longer be watching it.

October 26, 2012 at 7:05 pm
(29) Marcey Igo says:

i WOULD NOT HAVE PROBLEM IF THEY WERE STRAIGHT, TWO FRIENDS AS ROOMMATES, BUT THIS BIT OF THEM COMING OUT AS homosexuals, and having sex, is gross, and the fact that their family is backing it, is ridiculous as well, regardless of most God fearing people would never ever approve of i’ have dealt with everything else, but this 40 year devoted fan relationship has come to a stop because of you bringing the homosexuals in to it. homo sexuality is choice, but its not a choice that we have to agree with. nor is it a choice that we can tolerate
read 2nd timothy 3. pauls letter in 2nd corthians chapter 7 that states who will not inherit the kingdom of heaven.

October 26, 2012 at 7:12 pm
(30) Marcey Igo says:

sonny and Williams homosexual relationship in the open, this is gross,
i have friends that are gay, but they don’t bring their relationship open to the table, with us, its a mutual agreement,

And the fact that the family agrees with it, i don’t think so, the fact that they encourage it , then they are not true catholic s, as portrayed on the show,
this use to be a show with at least good morals, and working out problems but if this is where your going then forget it. good bye to days it will be the down fall.

October 26, 2012 at 7:21 pm
(31) June Hodson says:

I too have stopped watching DAYS OF OUR LIVES because of Will and

AND THIS IS DISGUSTING, I AM A 79 YEAR OLD WOMAN, AND THIS IS NOT THE NEW NORMAL. homosexuals have been around for a long time even during the day of Jesus Christ, but just as it is then it is today
HELL IS NOT A PARTY it is not cool.,

I am 79 years old and straight but i will not i am not prejudiced, but i will not be subjected to it either.
I will not condone home sexuality

October 26, 2012 at 7:34 pm
(32) Roni says:

Do we really need to have two gay men in our faces????? Not really need to be …not good at all!!!

October 26, 2012 at 7:54 pm
(33) Diane says:

Will & Sonny are boring but would be more interesting if they weren’t so bland. And why put them together so damn fast?!
I’m so annoyed with the character assassination of Will that we’ve seen lately! Will should be working for EJ and wreaking havoc on Salem! If Will goes back to being a deceptive and interesting character, then I might be more interested in Will and Sonny. Now, not so much! Don’t care about the baby crap either. We’ve seen that story repeatedly in the past few decades!

October 26, 2012 at 8:15 pm
(34) Nikki says:

Soo excited to all the haters that won’t be watching its 2012 get over it!

October 26, 2012 at 11:58 pm
(35) Kim says:

It doesn’t matter if it’s 2012. You can’t just “get over” being nauseated over Will & Sonny. I would be a lot more open to two characters acting like Cam & Mitchell on Modern Family. I don’t want to see them having sex. It’s just sickening.

October 27, 2012 at 12:12 pm
(36) jan says:

Just read all the comments and you can pick out the queers. They are the ones who like this homo crap. Hope the queer producers of this mess enjoy seeing their show go down the crapper. I have seen my last episode!!!!

October 27, 2012 at 2:53 pm
(37) Cindy says:

I am so sad to see that Days has created Will and Sonny. This was a pretty good family show. My husband and I would record it and never missed an episode. We are Christian people. It seems so unfair that so many programs on TV now are promoting gay sexuality when obviously it is not everyone’s belief. Days seemed to have what appeared to be Christian values. Having a pastor. Many episodes with praying in church. It was gratifying to see that at least one show was staying with moreorless “values” rather than going along with what is the “thing” everyone is doing now. Because of Will and Sonny, we no longer watch Days. It is appalling to be sitting and watching a really good scene with John and Marlena and then in an instant two guys kissing. What a shame. It is hard to find something decent to watch.

October 27, 2012 at 3:38 pm
(38) Steph says:

GOOD RIDDANCE, BIGOTS!!! Go watch 700 club.

I have been watching Days since 1977. It’s about time there is a loving same-sex relationship on the show. This longtime viewer fully supports it! Go Wilson!

October 27, 2012 at 5:16 pm
(39) Jane says:

I truly cannot believe some of the hateful comments in this thread. It makes me sad.

October 27, 2012 at 5:46 pm
(40) LoveDays says:

Given how Days needs all the ratings it can get to stay on the air, they really need to write for their audience. The current head writers keep trying to push their own agendas instead of what most Days viewers want to see. I don’t want Daniel/Jennifer, Sami/Rafe, or Will/Sonny. Mainly because they don’t have any chemistry. Days was so good last year but it’s just been so bland and boring lately.

October 27, 2012 at 6:16 pm
(41) Jane says:

LoveDays, if DOOL stays with the same silly stories, it will be cancelled. I enjoy a reality based soap. It brings me back to my grandparents apartment in the early 1970′s vs. the nonsense of 1990-2010. Julie’s rape, Mickey falling in love with Maggie, who could not walk, David’s interracial romance. That was cutting edge stuff. So is Wilson.

I think Will and Sonny make a great couple with lots of chemistry. Some folks may be squeamish about the ‘gay’ issue, but it really is a love story for a new generation, unlike this absurd Nicole baby crap. That kind of story will get this show cancelled. Geez, I sound like a parrot!

October 27, 2012 at 6:55 pm
(42) Faydra says:

I too am a long-timer. Been watching since before Hope was born. I too, like most of you do not like the Will/Sonny storyline. Not just because he’s gay. I couldn’t stand him before they decided to make him gay. I can’t stand any of the “kids” on the show.
As for you Marcey, you can not choose to be gay. You either are or you aren’t. Kids don’t grow up & say, “Oh, I think I’d like to be gay & be an outcast & bullied for the rest of my life.” Just like you couldn’t change the fact that when people see your horrid face & run in the opposite direction & throw up, is it because you chose to be that way. No, it was because you were born butt ugly just like they are gay.
I won’t watch them that’s what fastforward buttons were made for. Like I do for alot of the scenes I have no interest in. I’m not sure how long I’ll keep watching. Kind of getting tired of the whole show. Was hoping their contract would not be renewed.

October 28, 2012 at 12:29 pm
(43) Michelle says:

I agree with you Jane. It makes me sad also to see how backward some people still are. It’s like many years ago when black people were treated inferior and couldn’t even drink out of the same drinking fountain as other people and having to sit on the back of the bus. My god. This isn’t about two guys being in love and acting on it. It is about TWO HUMAN BEINGS who are in love and are acting on that love.

I feel terrible for some of you who have kids that may be gay. They are probably petrified to come out.

October 28, 2012 at 1:31 pm
(44) shygirl says:

While I am made uncomfortable with the will/sonny storyline, I just fast forward thru their scenes. I try not to judge, we are all God’s creation and I believe we will all answer to Him one day for our failures and sins. But I admit that any homsexuality feels unnatural to me and “wrong” as much as pedophilia and incest, pornography, etc. I have lived a long time and seen a lot, maybe more than most due to my profession as a psychiatric nurse, and I have yet to feel that homosexuality is normal. Sorry. The writers wouldn”t dare put in the gay promiscuity that flourishes still, despite the Aids situation and the scandals of the gay bathhouses, etc. Political correctness can take a hike. I am sick of it.

October 28, 2012 at 5:15 pm
(45) Jane says:

Well said Michelle. I try not to judge anyone regarding the gay issue, as I can understand why people would be uncomfortable with it. It is what it is.

I am just so glad Days is trying to stay relevant and continue on with important topics. The WilSon story will help that cause.

(46) Crystal says:

I have been watching days since the early 90`s, and like most, I am completely disgusted by this Will and Sonny relationship. I know thats its 2012 blah blah blah, but what the heck “Time” has to do with this? Its not about the year, or being hateful, Its just that everybody don`t desire to watch 2 men having sex and kissing each other, so it will be nice if day time tv will stop shoving this down our throats! I`m really saddened by this because I love Days, and everytime Will and Sonny`s scene comes on, I turn the channel. As a long time viewer, this is such an inconvenience. I`m an at home mom and my 4 year old son is often in the room when the show is on, and I had to change the channel will fast when Will and Sonny began to kiss. I don`t want my 4 year old son to think its ok, or “cool”, or “with the times because its 2012″ to imitate that crap and kisses one of his friends on the lips because he saw it on tv. Kids imitate what they see on the media and I`m very disappointed that I can`t even watch days with my kids. This is some bull crap forreal, and comparing this to blacks not having equal rights back in the day is non sense! lol Gay, does not compare to civil rights, so we`re gonna squash that. (lol) But the bottom line is, Not everybody desire to see homosexual activity. That doesn`t mean we`re haters, holy rollers, or “Not with the time” (2012) It just means ‘We don`t want to see it! Why is it ok for gays, and gay supporters to have choices, but everybody else can`t? This is a trip!!! lol

have watched since 1965 but find homosexual scenes sickening. will no longer watch

October 29, 2012 at 1:49 pm
(49) Mary says:

I have also watched this show for 30 plus years. I am now done and will no longer schedule my day to sit down and eat lunch and watch days. I would suggest the writers look on this blog and see what the majority of viewers are asking for. Your show will crash because of the choice you have made. Could have taken a lesson from modern family (being the top rated show on tv) they do not cram it down people’s throats. So long days.

(50) katrina says:

i have been a faithful watcher of days sense i was a child iam 52 now. i dont have a problem with gay people . but irefuse to watch it on my soap watchin them make out is to much.when they told tyler perry he couldnt say jesus in his movies any more i dont think im alone on this topic .you have gone to far

(51) L Standly says:

I have watched Days forever but this is about as “low” as this soap
can get – should fire all of the writers – this is partly what is wrong
with the world today – yrs ago was a better world – not so open and
the world was fine but now sex, drugs the world is slowly being destroyed – God will punish us all ! ! or should

October 29, 2012 at 4:39 pm
(52) Vic says:

Everyone is entitled to their opinion….as for me, It makes me sick that they are showing Will and Sonny have sex or anything else. I will not be watching and I’ve watched this show for over 40 years. I know it’s the times but I don’t have to watch. Get back to good story lines. I honestly don’t think there’s more people wanting to see this than not.

October 29, 2012 at 4:41 pm
(53) Marie says:

I have watched DAYS since its inception way back in the sixties.
This storyline with Sonny & Will is disgusting and way too explicit to be on any soap. I won’t be watching DAYS faithfully anymore. I’ll drop bynow and then.

October 29, 2012 at 4:54 pm
(54) Val says:

I too have been watching Days since the day they started. I use to run home from school to watch it. I have many gay friends but like someone else posted, they do not have sex in front of me or anyone.
Days wise up or you will soon be off the air. I think it is sick what they are doing with Will & Sonny.

October 29, 2012 at 5:08 pm
(55) Sandra Streb says:

On the subject of Will and Sonny I have only one question. Are the two characters gay in their real life? Just curious.

October 29, 2012 at 5:10 pm
(56) Mary L. Jensen says:

I agree with the others and will not be watching along with the rest of my family as that is one thing that doesn’t not have to be in a good story to ruin it for all. Sami and EJ are not a couple also.

October 29, 2012 at 5:14 pm
(57) Linda says:

I think it is disgusting and shame on Days if Our Lived for dropping to this low moral place. I’ve watched for years but this ends my viewership.

(60) Lori says:

I am disgusted by all the hateful comments about Will & Sonny here and elsewhere.

I am a straight woman who loves WilSon and applauds the actors for doing such a great job portraying first love. Hopefully your kids are part of a younger generation where many kids are growing up without the hate and prejudice of their parents.

It’s long past time DAYS did this story, everyone else went there a long time ago. But they’re such a good couple they’re worth the wait.

Thank you, DAYS, for giving us this rootable couple. They are adorable, fun to watch and anyone who won’t watch anymore because of it, good-bye. You haters can all stop watching and you won’t be missed anyway, you’re too old to count in the ratings.

October 29, 2012 at 6:10 pm
(61) Sue Peele says:

42 years of watching Days. I closes my eyes every time Will and Sonny kiss. I think both are good actors but I can’t watch them kiss.

October 29, 2012 at 6:10 pm
(62) Kathy says:

I am sort of disappointed to the direction to where Days is going. The Gay story line is turning me off. Does Days have to resort to this type of story for ratings? I think the older fans are a little disgusted with this. Maybe Days is trying to get a younger viewing audience, it may be more acceptable to that type of group than us older folks. On Todays show, October 29th, it looked somewhat like a porno film. with Will and Sonny in the bedroom.

October 29, 2012 at 6:35 pm
(63) Betty says:

I read the comments..most feel the way I do about this whole Will and Sonny deal…I DO NOT have anything against gay people…but this soap opera is one of my favorites since it began…when Will and Sonny are on..I flip it to another channel…I do not care about seeing two men make love…I will NOT be watching the sex scene…should not be on t.v. I do not know why the writers even had this happening to this soap opera……not my cup of tea for sure!!!!!!!

October 29, 2012 at 6:47 pm
(64) Dixie Smith says:

After watching this show for 47 years……….I’m leaving Salem with Pete.

(65) Terri says:

I am totally amazed at the people who say this is sick. They watch men and women making love on the shpw all the time. I am so sad for the people who are so disgusted yet they love to see the cheating and lying drama. I personally find cheating and lying DISGUSTING but I love the show. The key word is SHOW. If you don’t like it, turn off your TV. I pray that non of you disgusted, sick to your stomach viewers have a friend or a loved one who is gay.

October 29, 2012 at 7:01 pm
(66) Gail Thomas says:

I’ve been watching DOOL since 1974 but that’s about to end. It was bad enough when you chose to have a gay couple on the show but to be so flagrant about it is just disgusting. I am not a homophobe. That’s just a name the gay community has come out with to try and make themselves some sort of victim. I’m not scared of gay people. I am disgusted by them. It’s a lifestyle choice that they give in to. The way 2 men have to have sex is totally unnatural to the natural mechanics of sex between and man and a woman which is how God intended it.. Please pull the plug on this disgusting story line. If you don’t, I bet you don’t come back next year.

(70) sylvia says:

I am really curious to know what kind of people you are who is excited to see a sex scene between two guys portraying gay characters. Obviously ones with no morals. The writers should be ashamed of themselves for pushing this on fans who are offended by it. I think the show should be boycotted!!!! Will and Sonny look absolutely silly during their scenes. As a long time viewer, I am so disappointed in this storyline. To all the people out there that is enjoying this that want to call people homophobic I say to you I am sorry you think this is ok. It is an abomination in God’s eyes. Just take the time and think about it. We were created as man and woman and not to get to frank but they go together like a puzzle. Think about how it works between two people of the same sex. The pieces just don’t fit correctly. Their would be no people on this earth past Adam and Eve if It were supposed to be done that way. We are made to be able to reproduce children. There is no way that can happen without a man and a woman. If you read what happened in the bible to people that were living so wickedly and doing things such as this, he destroyed them. I have been just fast forwarding through the scenes of Will and Sonny but I have to draw the line. I will not be watching it.

I have watched since day one and I say good for them for doing a very tasteful relationship between 2 people – are they gay? Who cares! The ones who will not watch anymore or think this is sick, I feel very sad for you. You will be missing other scenes due to your prejudice. Just my opinion, but I love watching Wil and Sonny together because they are a great couple!

This is just the NBC bigwigs shoving their ideas of what “Normal” is down our throats. LESS that 10% of the population in the US are Gay. How can they have so much say in our lives? After 20 years, this is my last. I bet this is the REAL reason Bo left the show……..

Why is it that just because someone doesn’t want to see the gay sex right in front of their face does that make them a homophobe? That p***es me off! I believe in living your life the way you want to and to each their own but why does it have to be shoved in front of us constantly? It’s media pressure. Every show feels the pressure to include a gay character these days. I don’t mind some. But now it’s become ridiculous just as every thing that is shoved in our faces does constantly does. Example: all the political ads. Enough! Soaps are suppose to be fantasy. I don’t like so much ‘real life issues’ and some put it. And if I wanted to see gay sex I would go somewhere that features it. Not my soap that I’ve watched for almost 40 years. I’m disappointed in DAYS for bending to the pressure. JMO

Watch EWTN or other Christian channel if you want shows that follow your so called “family values”. You shouldn’t be watching a soap in the first place, hypocrites. Kudos to Days for bringing this socially relevant storyline to the show. To all those preaching hate in the comments, you are the ones that should be disgusted with yourselves. I’m sure your children and grandchildren will feel deep shame of your bigoted way of thinking in a very near future.

I find it rather amusing that some people are saying it is wrong to show two young men kissing and making love on daytime soap operas, but it’s OK to show a woman and/or a man sleeping with damn near every man/woman in town. I am very proud of Days for showing this beautiful storyline, in fact it’s the only reason why I am watching Days Of Our Lives again. WilSon are a breath of fresh air and they have such a beautiful and loving relationship that is so real and not disgusting to watch. Keep up the good work Days.

This show has paraded hundreds of straight couples having thousands of kisses and sex scenes over the years, so it is about time gay Americans were represented on this show. It’s long overdue. Plus, these two guys are exceptionally hot. I applaud Days for bringing this story to the show. I hope they keep pushing boundaries and showing new stories that reflect our modern world.

I’m so proud of Days for doing this story line. I like stories that reflect our times, and, let’s face it, it’s 2012. It’s about time that the 11% of our population who haven’t had their love stories told have them told now. Chandler and Freddie have been superb in their performances to date, and I’m looking forward to what they bring next.

For those who find it necessary to spew their hatred across forums like this, the God you claim to uphold would not behave in the vile manner you do. But guess what? You’re out of the closet too and exposed for the cyber bullies you are. Shame on you.

Ok so I am so for this story and I cant stand the hateful comments. The one thing I find funny is that people here have not tuned out due to affairs, pre martial sex, murders , rape and demon possesion. However a loving relationship that happens to be between two men is what broke the camel’s back. Get over your hypicrtical selves. If you guys truly followed every word in the bible as LAW, you would never watch Days or any other soap for that matter to begin with. Grow the hell up you homophobes. Gays and Lesbians have been around as long as GOD and judt like him, were not going anywhere. We deserve equal treatment under the law and in entertainment repersentation in film & TV. Bravo DAYS for Will & Soony. I hope its a long run.

Thanks to Days of Our Lives for the Will and Sonny storyline – they are doing a great job showing two young people in love. For those posting here whose children are watching the show, there is a reason that Days has a “TV14″ Parental Guideline displayed on the screen when they start the show and come back from each commercial break. “TV-14: Parents strongly cautioned; may be inappropriate for children younger than 14 years of age. Contains moderate to realistic violence (including some blood-letting), moderate sexual references (including censored and/or partial nudity and heavily implied scenes of sexual intercourse), moderate language (including bleeped-out obscenities), and moderate sexual innuendo.”

I LOVE Will and Sonny and I can’t wait for this episode to air! Their love story just keeps getting better and better! I’m thrilled that Days is showing BOTH their emotional AND physical connection, and Freddie and Chandler are giving AMAZING performances! I’ve got to give Days HIGH praise for giving viewers an honest look at a loving relationship between two young men! Will and Sonny are sweet, adorable, funny, loving AND passionate! This is exactly the kind of romance I want to see on Days! I can’t wait for more WilSon!!!

October 31, 2012 at 11:32 am
(104) Anthony says:

I’m so happy that Days is portraying this storyline amazingly! It’s not even about a gay storyline anymore, it’s about two people in love who happen to be gay. And it sickens to think people are actually saying how disgusting it is to show a sex scene between two men. It’s part of human life, people! Deal with it!
And Frandler (Freddie and Chandler) are doing excellently. Freddie was right, they have great chemistry. Their kisses and scenes have been really sweet these past few weeks, which is adorable, but it’s nice to see them be passionate and intimate with each other just like straight people get on the show.
And as if you didn’t notice, I’m a HUGE Wilson fan, like huge!! :)

Wow – It makes me sad to see so much hate. Haven’t we all seen the teens that have been bullied and either been injured or even killed themselves because of who they are? I thought this country was coming around to think in a mindset of equality, not such blatant bigotry. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Will and Sonny and I commend Days for not shying away from their relationship. They are just two people in love – and the actors are portraying them with such realism and respect. As for the love scenes, we’re not seeing anything more than we would see if they were a straight couple. How many times have we seen John and Marlena or Sami and _______ doing the same thing? THANKS DAYS!

Love love love the Will and Sonny storyline! Anyone who says they are going to stop watching Days because of one storyline are truly not fans! There have been plenty of storylines that I do not like on many of the shows I’ve watched over the years. I simply fast forward those scenes but I do not give up on my soap. That’s not what a true fan does! So go crawl back into your little hole where everyone looks, thinks and acts just like you and let us real fans have Days!

Great job with this story line. Thanks for getting with the times and being inclusive. Perhaps some old people watching the show will realize their grandson, granddaughter, nephew, niece, son or daughter suffer being in the closet. Love is good. Happy is good. Sex is good (just use protection, everybody, gay or straight).

(108) Patricia de Groot says:

Just love the Wilson storyline, really wonderful acting by Freddie and Chandler. I think it is very important in the year 2012 to show real love between 2 guys too. It is a subject that is just as normal as hetero love and I think Days of our Lives is bringing it fantastic. Compliments to all of them, especially Freddie and Chandler. They really have chemistry and I watch the show because of them. <3

(109) Kenzie says:

I’m really enjoying Will and Sonny’s storyline. They are a very cute match and, with the history of both of their families, should never have a boring storyline.

THANK YOU SO MUCH, DOOL for playing their scenes just as you would any other couple. It’s nice to see their relationship progressing just like any other [non-instant romance] couple would on the show.

Freddie and Chandler are doing very well in their scenes together. It’s easy to see that they (especially Freddie) care just as much about their storyline as their fans, I’m sure, do.

Thanks again.

(110) Farah says:

I don’t have a problem so much with the storyline as it is relavent to what is going on eeryday around us and behind closed doors. I do admit though I have a problem with the explicitness of a sexual relationship. My husband can’t even look at it. But it is a show that transscends generations.. Most of those generations are still getting used to the idea of homosexualism…I think it may be too much for many of the viewers.. I would atleast advise to keep it not too steamy; or I think it could backfire in the ratings game. I have had friends that are gay; but they are very private about the sexual stuff, as they know many people are uncomfortable with that aspect of their relationships.

Thank you DOOL writers and crew, and thank you Frandler. Been watching this show since the 70′s and it just keeps getting better all the time. Love the addition of the WilSon story. I have only good things to say about it. I am disheartened at the cruelty of most people on this thread. Freddie and Chandler have great chemistry and I appreciate that they bear a lot of their heart in their characters. It makes it all the more profound. Noh8….

Love this show and all of it’s content especially WilSon. The world wouldn’t be as beuatiful as it is without gay people. I’m for this story and thank the DOOL writers, staff, and crew, especially Chandler and Freddie for putting their hearts into their characters so we can enjoy.I watched and didn’t see any sex so I don’t know what all the fuss is about. Whatever old viewers DOOL may have lost they’ve gained twice as many with the new storyline. Out with old int he with the new.

(115) Dee says:

I’m so sorry to see the show go this way. Yes, it’s 2012 & gay people are common place but I firmly believe probably 99 percent of every person that’s so pro Will & Sonny has to admit that their great, great grandparents would be rolling over in their graves knowing that we’ve come to this state. It just wasn’t normal then & if you’re a Christian you would know it is not normal now. It’s not any more normal than bestiality or pedophilia. Will those things become legal too one day? I mean where do we draw the line? If it’s in the genes gay people would be passing that gene on & we all know that’s not happening. Ok, so they can’t help it. Right, I can’t help committing adultery. Really? We all make choices, we all decide to do right or wrong.

Am I judging gay people? No. I hope with all my heart that they & everyone sees that Jesus Christ came for us, even a wretch like me, no better than any person gay or otherwise, no worse. Jesus loves us all, adulterers, gay people, me, you. Jesus died for us, took all our sins upon himself so that we are now washed clean & made acceptable to God if you can repent of your sins & believe with all your heart that Jesus really did die for you & that He is the son of God, if you believe this then you will be saved & have peace & joy & you can overcome all sin through Jesus.

Christian still sins but we try to be better, we try not to hate, to judge & to love everyone including all angry commentators & gay people. All that true Christians really want is for people to be saved, our family members, friends and even you who have gotten this far in my post. We can all overcome sexual desires with God’s help 8 being gay is just that, sexual desire.

Dee. For some of us, your religion is irrelevant and a book of fantasies. I don’t give a damn to see your Christian beliefs reflected on a TV show. NBC is not a Christian channel. Watch another show and get over yourself. I don’t need you to preach about what’s right or wrong based on a book written by men. The world doesn’t revolve around Christianity. Maybe I should start using the Harry Potter series to judge others just like you’re doing with your book of choice.

Tired of seeing Sami bounced around between the Rafe, EJ and Lucas. Put her with Rafe and let’s see another solid relationship that will last throughout the years. This is just a soap opera, however, stop doing hospital stories as everything about this setup is so fake. It’s like walking into a nursing home for emergency care!!! Are you kidding?
So said that after decades of watching this show that it is turning into such a crap shoot of storylines that are so bizarre. I stopped watching before and seems like I keep watching less of it.

I just started watching Days of Our Lives and I must say that it is about time that they do a storyline about a gay relationship. Love is love, no matter if it is between a man and a woman, or two men or two women. Should not matter at all. Everyone needs to be loved and respected, and I think this storyline is very real and supportive of the gay community. Thank you for sharing this storyline with the viewers. Chandler Massey and Freddie Smith are two amazing actors who are doing a wonderful job portraying Will and Sonny as real and caring individuals who find each other and are willing to take the next step in their relationship. It is an honest and loving portrayal of real life. Don’t let some of these hateful comments stop you from sharing this storyline. This is 2012 and it is about time that this situation is dealt with in an honest and real manner. Thank you to the powers-that-be for deciding to continue with this storyline.

So sorry DOOL feels they have to go all the way with
Will and Sonny having sex, it was bad enough starting
the gay story line with one of the main characters. I
don’t particularly like seeing the heterosexual going into
detail with their love scenes either, I just consider that
DOOL is dragging out the story line when they have
ANY of the sex scenes, I think we all know what happens,
we don’t have to SEE it on daytime TV. We all go to the
bathroom to poop and pee, I don’t need to SEE that ‘every
day life thing’ on TV either!!! If this is such a great story
line, why don’t they start another program called “Sonny
and Will”, from some of the comments it should go over
very well.
We have gays within our family and friends, we love
them and respect them. Funny, they don’t have to bring
their sexual preference into the conversations, just as we
do not either. Whether I continue to watch DOOL or not
probably will not hurt the program one way or the other.
Evening TV has been getting worse, so why wouldn’t
daytime TV follow, at least we still have good books and
now computer interest to replace TV.

What in the world are you doing???First Melanie, then Bo and Caroline are gone. Are you nuts. Of course you have the “over the top scene with Will and Sonny ” in the bedroom; before Lucas knocks on the door. Your writers need to go in a different direction. Why not have Gabby pregnant with Will’s baby and see where it goes. I will not be watching this show if you do not clean it up. I see you going to broadcast a sex scene later on this month. If you do; you will lose a large audience. Wake up.

Dee 115 was so right. 118 needs prayer. God is real and so is Heaven & Hell. Society is saying stupid stuff like this is 2012. Were not judging God has told us its wrong. Surely your not calling our Lord a liar. He’s asked so little of us and we cannot even do that. God Im sure has had times of regret and diappointment for the people he created. Thankfully he loves us and can and will forgive us. The devil is the deceiver and liar not God. God wants us to speak out the truth for His children. Society isturning their heads as if to say its okay. If you love someone surely you’d want them on the right path to Heaven. If we as Christians don’t speak out and tell the truth, then who will? Those who say nothing must not love or care if they go to Hell. Myself I don’t want the devil to win over any of God’s people.

This is not the first soap to feature a gay couple. I dont know what everyone’s problem is. Is it because they are men? All my Children and Bold & the Beautiful both had lesbian characters and they did not get as much flak as Days is getting. So like I said is it because they are men? Is it more acceptable to see 2 women making out than 2 men?

What’s hilarious is this show had a demonic possession storyline in the 90′s then they did a serial killer storyline where everyone was murdered and put on a mysterious island and now its a gay storyline that will make people stop watching. What a world. Religion is truly the poison of our entire culture. Believe in God all you want but don’t use Him as your excuse to hate. I’m sure you people are upset there is a black President, that slavery ended too right? Just like I’m sure your husbands wish that you couldn’t vote or are having affairs with their mistresses while you are at home watching soaps. This storyline and the sonny/will scenes I watch on youtube, the only part of the show that interests me. It’s very sexy and erotic. It’s not like they are showing will sucking sonny off or sonny pounding will’s ass with full on up close anal penetration. They are kissing. Eff your children’s sensitive eyes, if it was a straight couple, would you turn them away? You people are delusional.

To Danny (138):

There is no need for that kind of language or content being discussed on this board. Goodness. I’m very upset with many of the comments as well, but I doubt your post will change their minds due to your aggression. I love Will and Sonny so much and hope their story continues as it is now, almost equally to the straight couples on the show. The show needs to think about advertising to stay afloat, and I’ve heard that 18-50-year old women are the main target. I fall in that range, but I would imagine that many of the viewers who are so offended by this display of affection between two men are people over the age of 50. I think the controversy this show has erupted speaks to a generation gap in Western society and Danny I hope you can appreciate that it is difficult for older people to adapt to changing times. I hope that when I’m 60 I’m able to adjust to the societal norms of the time I’ll be living in but I’m sure it will be difficult. I hope that kids today are exposed to stories like this so that they are loving and accepting of gay couples when they become adults. As I said in my previous post, I think if some of the people commenting on this board endured watching WilSon along with their other favourite storylines that they’d eventually come around. I hope Will and Sonny become a mainstay on the show; if so, I’ll certainly keep watching!

Cannot believe how many people run their lives based on a mythical book written by men and not any god and full of contradictions. People pick and choose what they want from it, the Bible also says if you tell a single lie you will hang by your tongue in hell forever so I guess none of you are going ot Heaven, which doesn’t exist anyway.

Get used to seeing love between gay people. It is part of our world now. Marriage is a civil affair, not a religious one, and if they do not have marriage equality gay people should not have to pay taxes which help educate your kids.

You people have loved watching murder and adultery and criminal activity on DAYS but you complain about a story of love. You are shameful.

Chandler Massey and Freddie Smith are both exceptional actors who bring a great combination of realism and romance to their roles.
I feel the cast and crew shoule be commended for bringing such a strong and pertinent story line to life.

Watched Days since the beginning. My children and grandchildren have been watching since birth. This is the first time I have ever felt the need to express my opinion about a story line. Every one should be able to choose their own life style, but to shove homosexual acts in the viewers face is disgusting. Leave Will and Sonny’s kissing and bedroom antics to the imagination. I would hate to leave Days after all these years over an unnecessary blatant display.

(149) NewDaysFan says:

So many of these negative comments make no sense at all to me. To call some of Will and Sonny’s scenes too “blatant” or “in your face” seems ridiculous when other couples have had exactly the same kinds of scenes for years…kissing, clothes coming off, being in bed…exactly the same. I find it interesting that 2 guys together is a sin worthy of abandoning the whole show for, while murder, bed hopping, lying, cheating, stealing, kidnapping and all manner of other “sins” are perfectly acceptable. I didn’t know Christians were allowed to pick and choose their sins. I’m new to Days but I’ve watched other soaps for decades. I started watching Days just because of Sonny and Will and I love the story so far. By the way, the latest soap ratings show Days to be UP in women viewers 18-49 years old.

Days! I applaud you for introducing these characters, and portraying a sensible/realistic gay story line. I absolutely adore WilSon. I am quite astounded at some of the comments left on this forum. How can some of you say you’ve been watching the show for decades, but not have any problem with adultery, rape, possession, murder, and the list goes on. But, heaven forbid if Will and Sonny- 2 human beings that LOVE each other, and have a meaningful and developed relationship, so called “flaunt their relationship” than you threaten to leave? Soaps don’t show anything explicit. WilSon’s relationship isn’t shallow. The writers took care to develop the characters so you could know their struggles and adversity. It would be a short make out scene and the shot would fade away. It’s sad that the idea is enough to leave you “disgusted.” The narrow-minded of some of the viewers take on same-sex love is what’s disgusting.

And everyone complaining makes me laugh cause you say you don’t care they’re gay but you don’t want to see them kissing but you don’t mind seeing sex scenes with all the other characters on the show…makes a lot of sense.

I LOVE Sonny and Will, in fact I had given up on soaps after OLTL and ATWT had been cancelled. Hadn’t watched a moment of soaps in a couple of years. A friend said I needed to check out Will and Sonny. I was reluctant, not because they were gay, but because I hate 99.9% of the teen storylines. I am so glad I listened to my friend. Will and Sonny have brought this former viewer back to Days after a long time away. Way to go Days. I will be watching that day and every day after that.

I have read some of ur comments about Will & Sonny, I think ur wrong about ur kids! My daughter has many questions like recently she asked what makes someone gay? or what is a transgender person? She learned it at school not days!!! As for the show I commend you for haveing the guts to explore this storyline this is normal reality. I have watched days since Sami was a teenager & my question is when ru going to get Sami & Rafe together again? Rafe is Sami’s true love. Sami & Ej have this love hate relationship but seriously he needs to stop pining over her! I’ve seen Sami hooked up with many guys & Rafe has been the only one that made sense. Sami loves Lucas because they’ve grown up together but he will always be her friend. Seriously Sami as an fashion icon doesn’t work either she’s never been obsessive about fashion & Make-up. The writers honed her abilities as a teenager, Rafe & Sami make a good. team when they work together. I’ve often wonderd why the writers havn’t put her in the FBI or Shayne’s position in the CIA. I know she’s alway’s in trouble but I think this is where she can do good! After all she is a cop’s daughter & a great investigator when she wants to know what’s going on! Maybe this way she’ll finally see Ej for who & what he really is once and for all!!!

Its me again. I have to say that between my mother and I, we have watched from the beinning, yeah day 1. I can remember other story lines, where that african american Dr. Marcus something or other had a crush on Faith, or say Nicole’m mom Fay and good ole’ Abe having a mixed raced baby- a la Brandon. So these things are ok? And that ridiculas possion storyline that took like two years of my life. I am a realist. I am a straight, bi-racial female. I have been married for 9 1/2 years and have 3 children. My oldest son, who is 19, used to watch the show with me, and he is straight, but he said it the Sonny and Will story, help one his friends to come out of the closet and he had no problem with it all. My daughter who is only 3, knows that Will and Sonny love each and its ok. If there is a scene her father and I don’t want her to see, I watch my dvr’d show later, by myself and I watch it over and over and over. I LOVE WILL AND SONNY. All you moral, bible belting, haters, better have a better make sure that you don’t have any Will and Sonny’s in your family tree, before you make comments that my hurt one of them and yes I have gay people in my family too. My opinion with the Will thing I agree that this is to much for tv where children might see it and some drs and business don’t play it in waiting rooms any more because of complaints it is too graphic. I am an old viewer if 46 years. Ive heard a lot of negative things said about us older ones but if we hadn’t been loyal watchers and more than that, we patronized the sponsors and still do. This is the same story line as Nicole and EJ, Rafi, and Danny. Why would Gabi not use a condom. I would think that viewers would be more upset about that; than two men being together. Now another baby, please this girl can bearly make it to work. I do not think the writers thought this thru. They just changed the names on the same old same old. Its going to break up Will and Sonny after the “cherry” is popped. I guess it is justice for Gabi, after all she was a virgin, too. And now she will struggle to figure out what to do. I hope this does not turn this soap into the Teen Mom show. Maybe Dr. Phil should sit down with the writers.

Reading some of these comments just makes me say “wow”. I too have been a long time viewer of DOOL. Although I am not 100% comfortable watching Will & Sonny, I think it is a great story line. For those of you who call this show a “family show” or mention having kids watch it, all I can say is “ARE YOU KIDDING ME?” Days has NEVER been a family show or suitable for kids. I would never let my kids watch it. The scenes between Will & Sonny show a young couple in love. I would much rather see that then a straight couple cheating on their spouse or partner. Not to mention all the other “immoral” things that are shown on the show. Like others have said, if you don’t like the scenes between Will & Sonny then fast forward or leave the room. Get over it already, it’s the one thing that I find real in the show. I say, good job writers & keep up the good work. Oh, and by the way, I am not gay. I am a happily married straight female so there.

I’m amazed by all the viewers who are expressing their “disgust” at this very tame depiction of a gay relationship on DOOL. Obviously, if you’re not gay, you’re not going to find a same-sex encounter personally stimulating. But put the shoe on the other foot….gay people watch straight encounters on television and in the movies all the time (much more graphic representations, I might add). I don’t think you’ll hear gay people saying how “disgusted” they are seeing those relationships. Human beings are complex and so are their feelings. Sad to see so many of the comments posted here are totally disrepectful of simple human diversity. What is really “disgusting” here is the lack of compassion and understanding of your fellow human beings and who they happen to love.

Hypocrisy. Again. And parents, WHY are you allowing your kids to watch ANY soap opera? The “sex scenes” between men and women is OK for them to see? Stop using that as an excuse. The love scene between Will and Sonny was very tastefully done. Not graphic at all. Much tamer than some of the love scenes between any other couple on these soap shows. I have no problem with seeing these two guys together. Love is love, it doesn’t matter if you are gay or straight. Everyone deserves to be loved and respected, and as long as these two are committed to each other I see nothing wrong with it. I just wish they would have included a scene where they tell each other they love each other. Maybe that isn’t important to some people, but it is to me. I hope the writers don’t split these two up. I hope they are in it for the right reasons.

ABC realized they made a mistake axing the other two soaps and at least have learned from their mistake, making GH a fun ride to watch.

All I saw was my fav-girl Nicole crying and in pain, losing everything, including her mental health from the loss of her baby. Not a joy to watch. Then there was the gay sex. Creatively challenging and pushing the envelope, but not a ratings booster and still not fun to watch. I can’t relate. This is not a subject matter for daytime TV. What’s next? Nudity? Porn? I’m not anti-gay so just imagine how many viewers who are quit watching.

This is the only board I am on, so when I get that email saying that Will and Sonny are gone and Nicole is back to her happy scheming ways with a powerful (Not a wimpy Dr who crosses every ethical line there is but shows no forgiveness for anyone else) …I’ll be back. A year? Two? Ten? Let me know.

I’ll miss you all. Especially all you regulars. Hopefully the producers and writers will wake up so they can continue having a job to go to.

Sick! Sick! Sick! I want to vomit! Why DAYS are you doing this after I have watched you for 45+ years! Two men in BED together having sex and kissing? WHY? You can have your gay storyline but WHY are you shoving it down my throat by making me watch? Now I can get through the soap in no time flat as I am forced to fast forward through it with my eyes closed!

It’s really too bad that people can’t just enjoy Will and Sonny’s romance just as they would with any straight couple. They’re two great young men (and not half bad to look at, either!). Do some of you know how you sound when you say you don’t care if they’re gay….but you don’t want to see any kissing, etc. I guess they can be gay as long as they don’t do anything about it. If the straight couples can “do something about it,” Will and Sonny should be able to also. Some of you should google the soap ratings. You may WISH Days would lose viewers because of the guys, but the show just had a 10 week HIGH number of 18-49 yr old women. So much for universal disgust…

I am also a long time Days of our Lives viewer 35 years. I love your show and I am not homphobic, but I really am saddened with the way your gay scene with Will and Sonny was played out. There was nothting Hot about it. I too tape the Days show so I can fast forward through the kissing and lovemaking scenes.
When I watched the show today and Eric came back as a priest the first thing I thought of was that your writers will now have a priest doing a love scene with Nicole. That’s a man woman and I will not watch that either. You push gay lovemaking in our faces If your gay, that’s you, but my choice is not to watch it in my living room. From the sounds of it you have many more viewers that don’t want to see Will and Sonny kissing or making love then who think it’s hot. Some don’t mind, but we do and we have just as much right as the 18-49 age group.
If the scenes of Will and Sonny are not more tasteful I will stop watching
Days. The Lord will do the judging of all of us

I have been watching Days since day one. I think most of us that have been watching since the beginning, doesn’t like the explicit untasteful Will and Sonny scenes. Having gays on the show is fine and they could help educate the public, but all this unnecessary sex is crazy. It only alienates the audience of your long time viewers. You are on the air today because we have watched for such a long time. You will loose many of your viewers if you don’t head in another direction. It takes away from the show.
I feel the same way about male/female explicit sex. I have gay friends, male and female, but all of us think that sex is a behind the scenes privacy. You are just pushing an agenda and it is a great way to loose many viewers and I don’t think that is wise when so many day soaps are leaving the air.

Goodbye to a great show till now.

The whole Will and Sonny thing is just wrong to me.
It seems like every program anymore is just trying to shove homosexuality down our throats. So of us do not want to see it. I know it is alive and well in the world but we should not have to watch it on TV. Keep it at home and I would not say a word but do not make me watch it. I tape the program and fast forward every time it comes on. Please stop. showing it.

I think this story line of gays is very distasteful . What is this world coming to? I have watched this show for 40 years and have watched my LAST show. You have some crazy writers..demons, devils and now guys kissing and having sex on TV.

Well, I think people have been liking Will and Sonny’s story as well as other stories on the show. In the soap ratings that came out over the weekend, I found this regarding last week. “In the valuable women 18-34 demo, ‘Days’ equals its highest rating in nearly a year.” It was also an 11 week high for the broader women 18-49 demographic group. For better or worse, money talks, and if the show keeps pulling in that lucrative group of women, the show will keep doing what it’s doing. Will and Sonny are a great couple. Who cares if it’s 2 men?

The show doesn’t need you.

I adore WilSon so much. Congratulations to DOOL for this historic moment, I’m so proud. These characters are brilliantly portrayed by Chandler and Freddie.
To the homophobes and so called Christians, you are the sickos here, you people are truly vile and I am glad that I don’t know anyone personally who share your views. You are a dying breed, and in time you will all die off like the dinosaurs. You need some positivity in your lives and learn to respect others who are different from you.

(211) DeeJay Arens says:

I don’t even know where to start. I hear people talking about how disgusted they are and how the show no longer shows a moral side. Really? You watched a SOAP as your moral compass? And you find a same sex relationship the most repulsive thing that has been on air? The lying, adultery, buried alive, demon possession, serial murders were SO much worse than an honest love that happens to be between two people of the same sex? You need to really take a deep look at what is making you ‘disgusted’. People on here are acting like being gay was the WORST people could be. I will not go on and on about ridiculousness of homophobia vs. all the other issues that have been part of SOAPS since their beginning. I am just saying give the rest of us a break. We’ve had to sit through watching the insane actions of the straight people on the show for many, many years. Forgive us for being okay with an actual love story. Rather, don’t. Just feel free to expound on your religious ideals and how THIS storyline has ruined the morals of the show. Really? Have you REALLY been watching for 40 years? I don’t think so. What we are seeing is a planned action against the show by people who have NOT been fans of the show. I’ve watched the show since having a nap on my Grandma’s lap in 1981. Thank you, Days, for being THE contemporary show and continuing your history as the daytime show that pushes all of us into where society all ready is. Bravo.

I don’t understand why so many people are upset that Days has created this story line for Will & Sonny.
I’m not gay but I’m a modern enough thinker to understand that it’s a good thing to show people that two men or two woman can love each other and compliment each other lives.
I think it’s so sad that there are so many haters in this world that can’t just understand the basic need for us as human beings to be loved.
To the writers on Days, don’t be distracted from this great story line by all the nay sayers.

Can’t wait to see more love between Will & Sonny.

I have followed Days for a very long time and have had my likes and dislikes regarding the writers and some of the odd story lines they’ve chosen. Quite frankly, I sometimes wonder why I’m still watching. Thank goodness for DVRs and being able to fast forward.
However, I am so disappointed to see this story line of Will and Sonny taken so far. I know Days has been praised in the past for their discision to tackle controversial issues and that’s fine but in watching the show, this is the only ‘couple’ that is being shown to the extent of the sexual closeness that Will and Sonny are. You know, sometimes less is more. It’s good to leave some things to the imagination and thereby keeping fans who are in real support of this story line and at the same time not loosing those fans who are not in support.
Where do these writers come from???? And who OKs this???? Please make some changes so I continue watching.

Gay people do not choose to be gay. They are born that way. I have had many gay friends and they have a right just like any other straight person to be happy and in love. With that said, I don’t particularly like watching two gay people have sex, this is because I can’t picture it for me. I do fast forward those scenes on DOOL because I don’t care to visualize It. I do still love the show. Lastly, parents….why are you letting your young kids watch soap operas anyway? It is not appropriate for young people to be viewing. If you want family tv time with your kids, watch family channels, not soaps!!

I love when Sonny kissed Will’s nipple and they lay in bed together and stroked each other’s chests lovingly. Pressing their cocks together and their smooth naked bodies. Pushing in and out of each other. Man jizz squirting in the air and all over each other’s faces then licking it off.

It is sad to know that some people are enjoying this gay scene. One person said wake up its 2012. I feel sorry for anyyone that feel its okay to watch two men in an intimate relationship. I too fast forward the scenes of Will and Sonny. It is an sickening. Its not right. Where are the director’s morals. Those that are enjoying the storyline, may God have mercy on your souls. My comments may anger some people, but that’s okay. I hope it gives you something to think about. But for some reason it doesn’t. Then in hell you will lift up your eyes. Please, you shouldn’t be enjoying this. Its just not right!

I find this very amusing that people find it wrong to show same sex affection or intimacy on a soap. Since when do soaps live up to “Christian ” standards. They are filled with casual sex, adultery, murder, rape, violence, blackmail and other criminal activity. Should children be watching any of this? It’s a show lighten up and enjoy the drama both gay and straight or turn it off. It’s your choice.

It’s amazing that because I do not agree with the homosexual lifestyle I am labeled a homophobe or a gay hater. Makes no sense. I personally don’t get it. It’s confusing to me that a man would want a penis in his anus when his body was designed to put that penis in a vagina for reproduction. Or even how a woman goes through all the trouble of rubbing vaginas or strapping on a penis…it’s just too much work. Just work with what the good Lord gave you. That does not mean I hate you, I will still talk and associate with you, we can be friends…I just don’t get it. Just like I don’t get how grown men can like little boys and vise versa or open marriages cuz that defeats the purpose of marrying someone to me. Just how I feel. Doesn’t mean I hate you. Deal with it.

the people who are mad are like 400 years old and have absolutely have a closed mind. this “gay” thing? yeah, it’s people’s lives. there are gay people in the world who love each other just likes wives love their husbands. to say you don’t want to be exposed to it is basically like saying i don’t want to go outside because there are trees outside. it’s gonna happen!!! people love and live like this and to have some old, Christian, white folk sitting at home calling them disgusting is in itself DISGUSTING!! if you really have that much of a problem with it, thank god you’re not watching it anymore because these homophobic views have no place in this world anymore.
