Days of Our Lives' Hope reveals she has good news, this week: Bo is coming home soon. But don't get your hopes up Salem fans. Peter Reckell is not returning to the show.
What does that mean for Hope and Ciara moving forward? More longing for Bo; particularly for young Ciara.
"It tears Hope up, because† Hope feels her pain," notes Kristian Alfonso (Hope). "You always feel your child's pain. It's always killing the parent. Also, [Hope is] like, 'When is he coming home? Where is he? Hello? Are you there? Bo?'"
Would Alfonso like to see the story resolved in some way? After all, Hope can't go on in limbo indefinitely.
"No, absolutely," says Alfonso. "I think they have been at the round table. That's all I can say. I think they're just working something out... moving Hope along."
Alfonso is eager to see what move the show's writers will make.
"This is actually the first time I've been on the show without Bo," she points out. "There are great things, exciting storylines that could possibly be pursued."
