When is DAYS on Soapnet?

Tuesday September 18, 2007
Due to Soapnet's recent changes in their programming lineup, some of us, including myself, have become confused as to when exactly DAYS airs on Soapnet. Recently, DAYS swapped time slots with The Young and the Restless and was previously seen weeknights at 7 p.m. EST. Same-day episodes of Days of Our Lives can now be seen on Soapnet weeknights at 11 p.m. EST except for Thursday. General Hospital: Nightshift airs instead. Additionally, previous DAYS' episodes can be seen weekday mornings at 10 a.m. EST. So, if you ever miss a Thursday episode of DAYS and were hoping to catch it on Soapnet that same night, you'll have to wait until Friday morning at 10 a.m. to watch it. Sunday night marathons can now be seen on Soapnet from 8 p.m. EST until 1 a.m. EST, in which you can catch up on all five episodes of the previous week. In the meantime, I will keep you informed of any latest programming changes regarding our favorite show!

Gwen, I like the way you write and am willing to “hang” in with you. Hope the network gets their act together and you continue your wonderful recaps. I enjoy reading your vivid descriptions of each episode. Hudos!!

Let me said this for years Days held th 7:00 slot, now all of a sudden they switc Days to replace it with Y/R, I feel that since Y/R was the last to come onboard, they should stay at 11 instead of 7.

I don’t even care when it airs but you need to consistant. You keep changing the times from week to week and day to day for that matter. Pick a time and stick to it for every day and week!

Hi Cheryl,

I agree with you. I wish Soapnet would stick to a consistent time as well, but I’m glad that at least now they have the DAYS’ Sunday night marathons starting at 8 p.m. instead of 12 a.m. :)

I think it’s awful that they keep changing the times of Days. I actually got cable specifically to watch Days on SoapNet (@ 7). I have to work so it’s nice to be able to watch after work and staying up ’til 12 is nearly impossible for a working mom. I think the switch stinks!!

I am very disappointed with the change of DOOL to 11pm CST. I work days so I miss your 9am morning repeat and also the afternoon NBC airings and can’t be awake at that late hour to view it. Then the Sunday night weekly review is late as well. DOOL is the
best soap ever and you are giving it the shaft by changing it’s airing times. The soaps should come first as it is soap net not rerun of the 1980-90’s teeny bopper shows. PLEASE reconsider this change so I can catch up on my DOOL viewing!
THANKING YOU IN ADVANCE, JUST ME

I agree that the switch stinks, because folks have school and work the next day, and I prefer the marathon to be a early Sunday morning marathon, instead of 11 p.m. central time slot.

I think soapnet needs to switch Days Of Our Lives back to 7pm at night, I work all day long and like watching it in the evenings after work, and I cannot stay up until midnight to watch it. PLEASE SWITCH BACK.!
