Ed Scott Out at DAYS as Co-Executive Producer
According to Soap Opera Digest and various other sources, Ed Scott has been fired as co-executive producer at DAYS. He was relieved of his duties as of Friday, August 15, 2008. Gary Tomlin has been hired to replace him.
Last month, Mr. Scott was the topic of heated backstage controversy, when Nelson Branco from TV Guide Canada reported that Scott was allegedly rewriting most of Head Writer Dena Higley’s scripts, and even allowing certain actors to rewrite theirs as well. The Writers Guild of America is reportedly investigating the allegations and has even been given photographs as proof of the claims. The irony of the situation is that Higley was labeled a “scab” during the Writers’ Strike. (Read more).

I loooooove this show very, very very much
I can tell there has been a change in the writers on days. It has gone down hill even further than before. It’s headed for the same pit that Passions ewnded up in!
Days is not headed down a pit fall at all. In fact the show has been great they just need to bring back my favorite villian Ford Decker for Halloween now that would be a shocking storyline twist. Shelley Henning’s character profile needs to be updated on this web site, and I really wish the writers would bring back Stephanie’s wild side she was more exciting when she was a bad girl misfit…
What was the black males name on Days of our lives that played the lawyer in 1999/2000?
