According to Joseph Mascolo's Official Website, the beloved actor who plays Stefano will be participating in The 62nd Annual Mother Goose Parade on Sunday, November 23, 2008 in El Cajon, California. For more information, call (619) 444-8712 or email info@mothergooseparade.org.
Additionally, the actor will be attending a Reception With the Stars on Saturday, November 22 at the W Hotel in San Diego. Proceeds from this event will benefit the Ronald McDonald House, Young Ambassadors Program, and Lions, Tigers, and Bears, a non-profit organization.
In 2009, Joseph will host a Soap Opera Themed Murder Mystery Cruise which will begin on Sunday, March 29, and last for seven days. The cruise will depart on Holland America Line's ship, ms Veendam, from Tampa, Florida, and make ports of call in Key West, Florida, Belize City, Belize, Santo Tomas de Casilla, Guatemala, and Costa Maya, Mexico. Guests will get the opportunity to do some detective work on this "whodunit" mystery cruise. Don and Marky Fenwork of CruiseWorks will treat guests to some special gifts, a private cocktail party, some fun mystery games, and other surprises. I keep writing Ken Corday as much as I can with ideals for Days of Our Lives. Don’t know if they use any of the story episodes but it looks like they are listening to everyone. I’m so thankful and glad they brought Stefano DiMera Joseph Mascolo back as he is one of the most wonderful gifted actors of our times alongside of the rest of the great cast of Days. I swear the show has really come alive not dragging on with the storylines. Moving along quicker gives the pazazz the show needed. Just get John Black out of the robotic stage to raise hell along with Stefano and Victor. To all the actors and actresses my hat is off to you even though I don’t wear one. I love all of you people and have been fortunate to meet some of you in person. That is one of the best memories I’ll carry with me for the rest of The Days of My Life. I really wish I could meet Mrs. Reid. She has always been like a Mother figure to me as I have watched the show for 40 plus years and she is such a beautiful lady that has given her best to Days of Our Lives. Please bring her home to Days as much as you can. We miss her too. God bless the Corday Family for bringing such a beautiful bunch of people and the best daytime soap opera that there will ever be and has ever existed.
