Days of Our Lives star, celebrity mom, and The Biggest Loser host Alison Sweeney (Sami Brady) co-hosted the 44th Annual Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon, which took place at the South Point Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. The 2009 MDA Telethon raised $60.5 million in contributions and pledges to help fight muscular dystrophy. Alison shared co-hosting duties along with Nancy O'Dell of Access Hollywood and television personality Jann Carl.
