Alison Sweeney in Season 6 of The Biggest Loser

'Days of Our Lives' star Alison Sweeney, who portrays Samantha "Sami" Brady, hosted Season 6 of NBC's hit reality weight-loss show called The Biggest Loser: Families, in which family members came together to transform their lives and to embark on a journey to lose weight. Contestants worked out under the supervision of professional trainers Bob Harper and Jillian Michaels in a safe and recommended manner through comprehensive diet and exercise as they competed for a grand prize of $250,000.

This was also the season in which DAYS star Alison Sweeney shared the joyous news that she was expecting her second child, due on January 20, 2009. Michelle Aguilar from Dallas, Texas was declared the Season 6 winner on the Tuesday, December 16, 2008 live finale.
