Tony and Anna move into the DiMera mansion. Stefano sends a package of goods to the mansion and calls Tony to tell him he's coming home. Daniel and Kate explain their affair to Chelsea. Chelsea can't forgive Daniel or Kate.

John asks Marlena to come home with him, but Marlena turns him down and agrees to let Roman come home with her instead. Chelsea sees a text message from Kate and confronts her grandma at the hospital. Daniel confesses his affair with Kate.

Nick and Melanie meet in France and they form a connection. Max and Stephanie continue to rot in jail. Nick is summoned to the jail by Steph. Melanie is surprised to realize that Nick knows Max and Steph. Trent wants Nicole to find out if Max and Melanie have spoken to one another. John wants Marlena to come home with him once she's released from the hospital. Lucas wants custody of Allie.

Steve and Kayla find Joe and worry about what's been done to him. Kate is reunited with Lucas. Abe and Roman rescue Sami and E.J. Stefano vows to bring Marlena to justice. E.J. tries to explain himself to Nicole.

Nicole comes back to reality and heads for the hospital to check on E.J.

Tony hallucinates and nearly hits John with a wrench, believing he's Stefano. Tony finds an unconscious Anna and revives her. Sami trips E.J. on the stairwell, thinking he's Stefano. Sami kisses E.J. Stefano taunts John over the intercom. Nicole sees E.J. and Sami kissing on the security camera. Steve and Kayla wake up and panic when they discover that baby Joe is missing.

Steve stops John from choking Stefano to death. Tony gently scolds Marlena for what she did to Stefano. A purple vapor drifts out of the vents. The seventh floor of the hospital goes into lockdown.

John puts a pillow over Stefano's face and vows to take over his life. Marlena is attacked by a masked intruder. E.J. and Tony realize that Stefano has spoken to each of them separately.
