A shirtless Philip is back home in the sun being waited on by Henderson. Philip thanks Henderson for picking him up from the hospital. Hope marches outside ready to confront Philip. She explains how Bo confessed everything to her and admits how she hates not saying anything, stating how it makes her just as guilty as Bo. Protecting family is honorable, says Philip. Hope worries about the truth coming out. Philip tries to assure her that the tape is destroyed, so theres no evidence linking Bo to anything. Hope sneers how Bo told her exactly what was on the tape. He insists that he never had any intentions of hurting Paul and wonders why she wont believe him. Because Paul is presumed dead! Hes missing! she affirms. Philip implores her to stop playing games, insisting that she must know John Black is behind Pauls disappearance. Are you investigating him? he asks. Hope refuses to discuss details of an ongoing case with him and is only concerned with Bo. Philip promises to do everything he can to protect Bo.
Philip later has his sunglasses on and asks Henderson to bring him the phone. Do I look like Henderson to you? asks Morgan. No, thank God. He could never pull off that outfit, replies Philip as he removes his sunglasses. Morgan reveals that she relieved Henderson of his duties and intends to take care of Philip whether he likes it or not. Philip affirms that he likes it very much.
Philip enjoys Morgan rubbing sunscreen on his back. He gives her permission to move onto other areas and encourages her to use her imagination. He tries to kiss her, but she tells him not so fast, reminding him that he has a fresh gunshot wound and too much activity might pull his stitches. Philip believes it might be worth it. Morgan reveals that she ran into Dr. Johnson, who apparently gave Morgan all the details about his medications and how to change his bandages. He obviously has other ideas in mind for being taken care of, but she smiles and tells him no.

Oh, there may very well be a trial after I kill him, threatens John. Marlena tries to assure him that if and when Stefano wakes up, theyll deal with it in a law-abiding, nonviolent way. You mean like you did. Dont you find that just a bit hypocritical? retorts John. Marlena states that shes not proud of what she did, but she couldnt see any other way to neutralize him.
