Brandon Beemer Trivia:
Biography of Brandon Beemer:
Upon graduating from high school, Brandon worked as a driver at the local Coca-Cola bottling plant. After this brief stint, he initially did some modeling in New York and took some acting classes. In 2000, he decided to move to Los Angeles and enroll in acting classes. This move led him to his first feature film in The Brotherhood. After a few TV guest spots and more feature films, he got his big break when he was cast in the role of Shawn Douglas Brady on the popular daytime drama Days of Our Lives.
Brandon is best known for his role as Shawn Douglas Brady on DAYS, where he replaced his popular predecessor Jason Cook, who ultimately chose to leave the role in 2006. The fanfare reception to Brandon in the role of Shawn has been generally positive, and Brandon has made the role of Shawn his own. He was contracted in the role until September 2009.
In January 2008, Brandon received the shock on his life when he and former co-star Martha Madison (ex-Belle) were suddenly let go from the show. Many fans were sad and outraged, as they felt the characters of Shawn and Belle were such an integral part of the show. Thus, a "Save Shelle" campaign was started across the Internet, and Brandon and Martha realized how many loyal supporters they had. The talented actors were let go because of storyline dictated reasons, and Shawn and Belle set sail around the world with their daughter Claire. Brandon's last airdate on the show was Monday, March 24, 2008.
Brandon didn't stay on the unemployment circuit for long, as he was hired by the CBS daytime soap The Bold and the Beautiful in May 2008. Brandon will portray a new character named Owen Knight and will first air on Wednesday, July 2, 2008.
