Answer: Jett Carver's father was Theo Carver, Abe's younger brother. Theo was a police officer who came to Salem back in 1985 in order to avenge the death of his good friend Danny Grant. He posed as a record producer and eventually discovered that crooked cop Richard Cates was responsible for his friend's death. Unfortunately, Richard shot and killed Theo that same year. Theo tragically died in the arms of his older brother Abe.
