Out in the hallway, Lucas makes another call in an effort to track his package, but is interrupted by Sami, who notes the police cars downstairs. He reveals that Bo and Abe are searching the apartment right now, claiming that they have some wild idea that Lucas has a gun which was used in EJ’s shooting. Sami suspects Kate of getting him in trouble and proceeds to go into EJ’s apartment, claiming that she doesn’t want the twins taking a nap in the middle of a police search. “And anyway I don’t want them anywhere near her. She’s toxic,” snarks Sami about Kate. She surprises EJ when she enters. He immediately conceals the baby monitor from her, then throws it and claims the bloody thing doesn’t even work. She suggests he take it back. EJ questions what’s going on with the voices outside. Sami claims she was just talking to Lucas and asks if she can change the twins’ diapers there.
Outside in the hall, Lucas makes his third phone call regarding the package and asks his recipient to leave the package at the warehouse so he can pick it up there. EJ listens as Lucas recites the tracking number. He quickly takes action and writes it down. Back in Lucas’s apartment, Abe speculates that Lucas could’ve either stashed his gun in a locker at the bus station or buried it for fear that the cops would find out about it.
Lucas tells Kate that his package in on the truck and headed back to the warehouse. Kate urges him to get rid of it permanently this time. Bo then presents Lucas with a list of his items he’s confiscating. Abe warns Lucas not to leave town, since they may want to talk to him later.
EJ then has a fantasy of Sami barging into Lucas’s apartment revealing that EJ was just shot. Lucas admits it was him, since he would rather go to prison than to see Sami marry EJ. Sami proposes that she convince EJ of her feelings for him so he’ll drop the charges. Back to reality, Sami emerges from the bedroom and asks if something’s wrong. “Why do I get the distinct impression that I can’t trust you?” asks EJ.
Shawn and a nervous Belle arrive outside their reunion location at Chez Rouge when an ecstatic Susan and Penny approach them and greet them. They are anxious to hear the details about Belle’s married life, while Shawn heads inside to catch up.
Meanwhile, Shawn heads inside and is greeted by Kevin, who now runs his own Internet travel company. Shawn shares how he’s getting into the police academy in January and just married Belle. Kevin offers to hook him up with a great honeymoon.
Back outside, Penny shares how she’s going to law school and how she feels right at home inside a courtroom. Susan reveals how she’s a therapist specializing in self-image issues and thanks Belle for making a difference in her life. Cynthia then approaches the group and claims she’s looking for Philip Kiriakis. She doesn’t exactly receive warm and fuzzy greetings from the threesome. Belle says hello to Philp before he goes inside. Cynthia follows him. Susan and Penny both agree how great Philip looks. Mr. Woods comes outside and greets the girls and reveals that he’s now the assistant principal. They head inside, where Philip takes a drink at the bar before spotting Belle.
Kevin asks Shawn about Mimi and admits he was hoping to catch up with her. Jason approaches them and makes a crack about Kevin not wearing his glasses. He then sees Chloe enter and remarks how hot she looks before heading in her direction. Kevin reveals to Shawn that he had lasik surgery and jokes how he may just try to hit Jason if he sees him on the road. “Once a jerk, always a jerk,” remarks Shawn.
Jason takes Chloe’s coat and tells her how good she looks, then rehashes the whole “Ghoul Girl” ordeal. She is cool towards him as he attempts to hook up with her later. Chloe then has a flashback to seeing Philip emerge from his hotel room at the airport, then having a drink with him in his room.
Cynthia puts her hands over Phil’s eyes and plays ‘Guess who?’ with him. She reveals how she’s working as a fashion editor for a magazine and flirts with him as he gives a very brief recap of the past five years. Chloe interrupts and claims that Philip’s taken. Philip thanks Chloe for getting rid of Cynthia. She admits she’s never forgotten him. Philip points out that she married Brady, which Chloe claims didn’t work out. She admits she was happiest when she lived in Salem and asks Phil if they can be friends again. He agrees before Belle interrupts and announces that Mr. Woods is getting ready to present awards. Philip heads inside as Chloe questions what’s going on between Belle and Philip. Belle simply claims that she and Philip are friends. “Who meet secretly in hotel rooms,” adds Chloe. Chloe shocks Belle when she reveals that she and Brady got divorced. Belle wonders why she didn’t tell anyone. She claims it was really hard on both of them and Brady wasn’t ready to talk about it. Belle notes that she wasn’t upset when she was hitting on Philip. Chloe denies hitting on her ex and claims that she and Brady grew apart. She accuses Belle of lying to her husband and expecting her friends to cover for her, then states that Shawn deserves a lot better.
Back inside, the atmosphere is much more relaxed as Penny snaps a picture of Shawn and Kevin. Philip ruins the moment between Shawn and Kevin, then Chloe greets Shawn and requests to speak to him. Mr. Woods then speaks to the crowd and presents the ‘most changed’ award to Penny, then presents the ‘least changed’ award to Cynthia. During the awards presentation, Chloe informs Shawn that she ran into Belle her first night back in town. Shawn is surprised that Belle didn’t tell him. Chloe then reveals that Belle was with Philip at her hotel and they had taken a room together. As Mr. Woods presents the award for ‘high school sweethearts,’ Shawn approaches Belle and questions if she’s sleeping with Philip. The crowd cheers for the tense couple as they win the award. A pensive Belle doesn’t answer as Chloe glares across the room at Philip.
