Sami snatches his ringing phone from him and notes that it’s his mom, which doesn’t surprise Sami. Lucas insists he bought the gun for protection and reveals that he’s the sender of his gun because he didn’t want the police coming to his place and searching after EJ was shot. She dauntingly asks if he’s the one who shot EJ. Lucas lies that he was with the twins all night and never left the apartment. Kate calls Lucas again and warns him that EJ has his package. She wonders if he got it back and warns him that Bo’s on his way to retrieve the package. By Lucas’s brief responses, she deduces that Sami’s there and urges him to get the gun from EJ. Lucas proceeds to leave and reveals to Sami that EJ has the gun and suspects that EJ forged his signature. Sami says it doesn’t matter, since he didn’t shoot EJ.

Lucas calms down and insists he needs to find the gun before Bo shows up and takes it. He reminds her that when she married EJ she insisted that she was doing it for the family, which is exactly what he’s doing as well. Sami assures him that they’re in this together. Lucas promises not to threaten EJ and will go in, grab the package, and leave. Stubborn Sami refuses to let him go without her.

Back in Cordy’s room, Morgan announces that Chelsea’s on her way and instructs Carmen to stay in the room with Cordy, while she and Steph go talk to Billie. Cordy requests to speak to Billie, but Steph doesn’t think it’s a good idea. A frantic Cordy insists that Billie has to know and they can’t keep it a secret any longer. However, the girls refuse to let her leave the room.

Chelsea arrives home and greets a suspicious Billie, then wonders where the girls went. Billie reveals that they’re held up in Cordy’s room and implores her not to go out by herself when there’s a rapist on the loose. Chelsea proceeds to round up the girls, then enters Cordy’s room and debates with the girls over what to tell Billie. The girls urge Cordy to stick to her guns and keep her mouth shut. Chelsea predicts that if someone reported Ford missing, then Billie already pulled the security tapes. Stephanie then reveals that she told someone about Ford who left the house wearing Ford’s clothes. Chelsea informs them that the security tapes are all timed and dated, so they need to think of a reason why they let Ford stay the night. Billie knocks on the door and announces that the fun’s over and summons the sorority girls out in the living room.

Billie later announces that Ford’s missing and was supposed to have lunch with his father. She notes how odd it is considering that Ford has never missed a lunch with his generous father. Billie further mentions that Ford’s father knows he was at the house, due to the cameras. Chelsea concocts a story about Ford being drunk and letting him sleep it off on the sofa. Billie is puzzled as to why they would allow a rapist to sleep on their couch. The girls claim they had no choice. A silent Cordy walks away, which prompts Billie to question if she has anything to add.

Billie later instructs the girls to let the security office know immediately if anyone sees or hears from Ford. Chelsea walks her out while Steph checks on Cordy. Carmen and Morgan fret over Billie not believing them. Steph then alerts them that Cordy’s missing, which she has a bad feeling about.

Stefano later advises EJ to never let a woman dictate his life. He vows to seek the best doctors in Europe for EJ and looks forward to seeing his grandson soon, then leaves. Lucas and Sami barge in and demand to know where it is. EJ displays the package and refuses to hand it over. Sami asks what he wants for it. “I would like to take you and Johnny to Italy in the new year,” he requests. Lucas balks at this idea, but Sami says she’ll think about it. Lucas and EJ argue over the package before a brief struggle ensues. Bo enters and Lucas retrieves the package ready to hand it over to Bo, who assumes that Lucas spoke to Kate. Bo displays a warrant and tells him to either hand it over or they can take a trip to the station. Lucas chooses the former and walks out. Bo asks Sami what’s in the package, but she tries to avoid his question. She then reveals that it’s a gun, but insists that Lucas only bought it to protect the family and was at home all night when EJ was shot. Bo shocks Sami when he reveals that Lucas hired a nurse to watch the twins that night. A despondent Sami claims he couldn’t have done it. Bo informs her that they’ll run some tests on the gun and if the gun doesn’t match up to the evidence, then Lucas will be in the clear.

After Bo leaves, Sami asks if EJ set Lucas up. EJ lies about not opening the box and insists he’s trying to do the right thing for his new wife and son. Sami states her belief in Lucas’s innocence. “I hope so Samantha, for your sake and for Allie’s, because betrayal is a horrible thing isn’t it?” he implies before Sami walks out. EJ then locks the door and painfully gets out of his wheelchair before laying down on the couch.

Sami re-enters Lucas’s apartment and confronts him about hiring a nurse the night of the shooting. Lucas expresses how he can’t believe Sami went through with the wedding and is still married to EJ. He admits he wishes EJ was dead but insists he didn’t shoot EJ. They are interrupted by Bo, who needs to confiscate Lucas’s passport. Lucas denies knowing where it is. Sami proceeds to get it in the other room. Bo laments doing this to Lucas. Lucas questions where the package is now. Bo replies it’s on the way back to the station and divulges that the most important piece of evidence is still in the victim. Sami emerges and hands Bo the passport. Bo tells Lucas to call if he changes his mind about talking, then hopes to see them at Mrs. H’s house on Christmas.

After Bo leaves, Sami implores Lucas to tell her everything about that night. Lucas rants about her marrying EJ before finally revealing that he went to the church, then left. He implores her not to ask anymore. Sami goes to check on one of the crying twins. Lucas then makes a call and tells his recipient that Bo has his package and his passport and doesn’t know how much longer he can hold off.
