A bikini clad Chelsea and Stephanie meet Jeremy Horton, Stephanies boyfriend, and Jett Carver at the beach. Hey Hot Buns! calls Stephanie. Sweet Cheeks! replies Jeremy with a kiss. He then queries about the babe Stephanies with. Stephanie makes the introductions. Chelsea quickly figures out that Jett is Abe Carvers nephew. Jeremy offers them a beer. Party girl Stephanie accepts, but a newly mature Chelsea declines, claiming that beer makes her sleepy. Jeremy and Jett banter briefly before Stephanie proposes two hot flight attendants for their shuttle business. Jeremy then breaks the news that they lost their investor, and thus their business is grounded. Stephanie offers to make some phone calls, figuring that it shouldnt be too difficult to cover costs. Jeremy reveals that they need $25,000 to get their business up and running again, which is more than just chump change. Stephanie makes it sound so easy and suggests they just ask one of the banks for a loan. It seems a couple of young fly boys with no credit history doesnt inspire a hell of a lot of confidence, states Jeremy. Stephanie then suggests Max Brady would like to get a piece of the investment. Chelsea is against this idea, since Max doesnt have $25,000 to invest in anything. Stephanie figures he can just take it out against his garage. What happens if the plane crashes? Whats Max supposed to do then? queries Chelsea. You mean because were all dead? retorts Stephanie. Jeremy replies that Max would in that case collect a big fat insurance check. Chelsea attempts to dissuade Stephanie against getting Max involved. How can one girl be so much fun? jeers Jeremy to Chelsea. Stephanie tells Max to lighten up, since Max is a big boy and can always say no. She proceeds to call Max while Jett gets the business prospectus out of his backpack. Jett then approaches Chelsea and is impressed with her bluntness to Jeremy. She refers to Jeremy as obnoxious. Jett then coyly asks if Chelsea is seeing anyone. She reveals that shes seeing someone named Nick who just finished college and is thus older. She briefs him on Nicks job, intelligence, and sweetness. Sounds more like a total geek to me, derides the conceited young Horton. Chelsea of course defends Nick and states hes not a nerd, hes her boyfriend. Jeremy makes another snide comment when Stephanie joins them and states that Max is on his way. Chelsea is stunned that Max would close his garage in the middle of the day to meet them at the beach. Jeremy gives his Sweet Cheeks a kiss for luring Max there. The two walk off to a more secluded area for their make-out session, while Jett and Chelsea proceed to go for a walk. Chelsea makes it known that Jetts best friend is a real jerk. They come back from their walk shortly afterwards and Jett notes that Jeremy and Stephanie are still playing tonsil hockey. Jett briefly discusses his prospective flight plans and they discuss their family backgrounds together.
Max shows up and Jett introduces himself. Jett informs him that Jeremy Horton is CEO and co-founder of Touch the Sky Airlines. Jett and Jeremy show Max the five year prospective earnings chart. Max appears skeptical at first, since he figures their rich clientele would have their own private jets anyway. Jett then mentions the incredible perks they have. Such as? wonders Max. Really sexy flight attendants, smiles Stephanie as she puts her arm around a reluctant Chelsea. Chelsea voices her disapproval to Max, but Stephanie states that Max doesnt want to be a grease monkey for the rest of his life. Hes not a grease monkey, hes an auto mechanic. And theres nothing wrong with that, clarifies Chelsea. Max agrees to sign up. Everyone is delighted except for Chelsea, who smells a scam. She attempts to persuade Max to at least let Frankie look over the paperwork. Jeremy barks at her to either lose the negativity or keep her mouth shut. Jett assures his jerk of a friend that Chelseas just looking out for Max.. Max tells them to meet him at the Brady Pub in an hour and hell have a certified check for $25,000. Stephanie coyly suggests to Jeremy that he give her and Chelsea a job since she found an investor for his company. Jeremy says no problem for his Sweet Cheeks, but speculates that Lorna Doone will scare away the customers. Chelsea says its fine, since she didnt want to work for him anyway. She continues to voice her disapproval, insisting that Max will lose his money. Jett assures her that Max will earn his money back. Chelsea decides to pass on flying to Vegas. After she walks off, Jeremy refers to her as a pain in the butt. He then makes out with Stephanie. Jett apologizes for Jeremys attitude, claiming he just says what he thinks. Yeah, so do I and I think that hes rude, arrogant, and an obnoxious woman hater, expresses Chelsea. She wishes him luck with his airline. He asks her to join him for a burger, but she reminds him that she already has a boyfriend. Jett claims its just a bite to eat, not a date. She reluctantly accepts. Meanwhile, Stephanie relishes about telling her family about Jeremys new airline, but he warns her to keep mum, just in case it doesnt work out. Stephanie agrees and asks him to give his new flight attendant a back rub. It obviously appears that Jeremy is hiding something.
At the police station, a worried Lucas leaves another message for Sami, warning her that EJ got away. John then relays to Bo that Hope mentioned Samis appointment with an Italian professor to have a DiMera letter translated. Bo admits he doesnt like it. Lucas wonders how EJ slipped out of the police station. Bo replies that EJ got a phone call and just took off. He speculates that the call couldve been about Sami. Lucas charges out of there on a mission to find his wife, while Bo and John head out to pay Tony DiMera a visit.
