John struggles in the cockpit to stay awake as time is running out. A gasping Steve asks how soon before they’re out of fuel. John replies not soon enough and states that his oxygen is almost depleted. “We need flight control or dump that fuel now!” he asserts. The timer runs down to zero as John yells “Now!” Everyone in the cabin gasps for air as the oxygen runs out. Chloe tells Philip that she doesn’t want to die. Belle gasps how she can’t get anymore air. Marlena whispers how it’s okay, since Claire will never know what happened. Shawn professes his love for Belle before he passes out. Hope and Kayla realize their masks are empty. “I love you Brady,” whispers Hope. “I love you Pop. I love you Steve,” says Kayla as she puts her head on Grandpa Shawn. John and Steve struggle to breathe throughout the agonizing ordeal as John works on dumping the fuel. We hear dismal music in the background as it looks as though everyone will die.

The mood is dark and quiet in the cabin as everyone is unconscious. John continues to struggle with his fingers on dumping the fuel from the plane. The fuel gauges reach the empty level as the plane begins to spiral downward. Steve wakes up coughing and asks John what happened. John reveals that he dumped the fuel and there’s no flight control. He urges Steve to start jamming wires. People begin to wake up as the plane descends downward . Steve and John furiously work on the wires. “Yeah! yells Steve. John states that they’ve regained some control, but warns Steve to brace himself since they’re out of fuel. Marlena wakes up and is thankful beyond belief that John saved them. Everyone is relieved to be alive and breathing. Marlena phones John in the cockpit and asks him if they’re going to be able to land. John claims it will be sooner and harder than they’d like to. “I love you,” she coos. Marlena then announces to the gang that they are out of fuel and about to make an emergency landing. “So please, buckle up and brace yourselves,” she implores.

Back at the police station, Caroline insists there must be someone they can call to find out what’s going on. “I heard that Chloe’s in trouble with the European Police,” says Steph. Abe claims there’s no evidence yet of foul play. Chelsea and Steph begin to panic about losing their loved ones, as does Max. Lexie wonders if they should call anyone else to inform about the situation, but Roman discourages this idea at the moment until they receive more information. Abe suggests they go back to the pub, but Caroline and Chelsea refuse to go anywhere. He then receives a call regarding the plane’s status. “The plane just went off radar,” Abe gravely reveals. All are speechless for a moment until Chelsea asks what that means. “Did they crash?” asks Caroline. Abe reiterates that it’s off course and it went off radar. The gang continues to nervously await word, fearing the worst. Roman informs them that rescue planes are being sent to the projected crash site. “Oh my God. They’ve crashed,” desponds Steph. Lexie tells them not to panic. Caroline is crestfallen and breaks down. Max tries to comfort his mom. “Please let them be okay,” utters Steph.

Chloe assumes to Philip that they’re going down too fast. “At least we’re still alive,” he points out. Belle tries to calm Claire down as they continue to spiral downward. Shawn almost gets up to help, but Belle begs him to stay put. They hit more turbulence before Bo wakes up. Bo asks what’s wrong with Pop and notes that he’s covered up. Bo uncovers his pop and calls for him. “Bo, I’m sorry,” laments Hope.”

Back in the cockpit, Steve yells upon seeing land. “So tell me dead-eye. Are you a betting man?” challenges John. “Only if the odds are in my favor,” replies Steve. John tells him to forget it then. “I love you Sweetness,” says Steve.

Bo pleads with his pop to wake up. Hope gently tells Bo that he’s gone. “He gave up his oxygen so we could all live,” reveals Kayla. “No, Pop! It was supposed to be me! It was supposed to me Pop!” cries Bo. Hope comforts a sobbing Bo. Belle asks Marlena what’s happening. Marlena informs her that they’ve run out of fuel. Bo proceeds to go help, but Hope begs him to stay with her. “I love you Steve,” whispers Kayla. Steve prays for God to please cushion the blow when they hit the ground. Shawn and Belle profess to love each other, along with Bo and Hope. John tells Steve he’s doing fine, just keep the nose up. Steve is stunned when John reveals that there’s no landing gear. John instructs Steve to pull back as hard as he can. Shawn and his parents exchange “I love yous.” Belle and Marlena exchange “I love yous,” along with Belle and Shawn. “This is it!” yells Philip. Everyone screams as they head down for a crash landing.
