Bo and Hope prepare to head to Ireland, while Philip prepares to fuel the Kiriakis jet for the trip. Chelsea recounts the details of Ford's death to Crawford. Crawford vows revenge.

EJ and Stefano exchange threats. Bo and Hope interrogate Crystal. Marlena asks Nick for a favor. Roman urges Marlena to let John go.
Max convinces Steph to go to therapy. Marlena pulls a gun on Stefano at the mansion while John hides. Hope admits to Belle that she's glad everything's out in the open. Bo and Roman decide to stake out the psychic shop. Steve attends his fertility appointment. Steph worries about Steve finding out about her rape.
Billie advises Kate to give Lucas some space. Marlena implores Roman, Bo, and Abe to do something in regards to Stefano, then vows to get Stefano herself. Shawn spends time with Chloe. EJ is aghast to discover John Black in Rolf's lab. Stefano warns EJ not to turn against him. Roman finds a title of ownership with the name C.B. DiMera. Stefano gives John instructions regarding a file.
Chelsea comes clean with Nick, while Stephanie confesses her rape to Max. EJ saves Lucas from Carmine. Marlena has a strange encounter. Marlena confronts EJ, then urges Sami to stand by Lucas. Bo, Roman, and Abe try to persuade the D.A. to go easy on Lucas. Philip reminds Chloe of their deal. Hope confronts Crystal. Bo and Hope present Shawn with a significant medal.
Marlena conceals a gun before leaving to meet with Crystal. Philip offers to put a bodyguard on Belle 24/7, but Belle refuses. Sami is astonished to discover that Will knew about the shooting. EJ punches an officer. Lucas tells Kate not to visit him in jail again. Marlena encounters the hooded houseguest outside and pulls a gun on him.

Bo, Hope, Steve, Kayla, and Marlena celebrate New Year's at Chez Rouge. Marlena confronts Crystal. Philip agrees to help Chloe if she gets close to Shawn. After Belle's confession, Shawn sends her packing and says he wants a divorce. Marlena demands from Chloe to know where Brady is. Belle seeks comfort from Marlena. Philip and Chloe ring in the new year together.
