At the casino, Nick gets down on one knee, kisses Chelsea’’s hand, and proposes to her. She assumes he’s drunk. He clarifies that he’s high on life and encourages her to take a gamble. “A gamble would be like dying my hair orange or eating snails or something. It wouldn’t be getting married on a whim,” she annoyingly replies. Nick still doesn’t get the hint, so she yells at him to take his comedy routine elsewhere before she storms off.

Meanwhile, Stephanie demands to know from Jeremy who his one-night stand is. Jeremy plays dumb and denies having any such thing. She reveals that Max told her about the “slut” Jeremy had over at Uncle Bo’’s house. “Good luck trying to talk your way out of this one!” she fumes.

Nick approaches Chelsea and admits he made a mistake by popping the question without a ring. “Marry me Chelsea,” he implores as he presents her with a tied cherry stem. “Wow. You really put a lot of thought into this, didn’t you?” she quips. He assures her she can pick out any ring she wants once they get married. Chelsea affirms that she can’t be bought. He insists he’s not trying to buy her, he simply wants to be her husband and professes his love for her. She flat out tells him to go away.

Jeremy wonders what exactly Max told Stephanie. She reveals that it came from Chelsea via Max and states that she believes them over Jeremy. He starts to walk away in disgust, but she refuses to let him turn this around on her. She demands to know why he would cheat on her, since she defended him to her parents and everyone else. Jeremy blows it off as a misunderstanding and proceeds to tell her the “real deal.” Stephanie notes that Jeremy always places the blame on someone else. He accidentally lets it slip that there was a girl which Max saw. She is disgusted and calls him a jerk. Jeremy claims that he didn’t sleep with her and lies that the girl is a friend of the guy he’s doing business with. “Then what was she doing with YOU at my Uncle Bo’s house?” queries a fuming Stephanie. Jeremy swears that the girl was in Salem and Ty just wanted to make sure she got a ticket to Vegas. He tries to sweet talk her, then Jett approaches them and reveals that Nick won 50 G’s at the blackjack table. Stephanie snickers when Jett further reveals that Nick proposed to Chelsea.

At the bar, Nick continues to plead his case, but Chelsea still refuses his proposal. “The answer is no!” she exclaims. He wonders if she has some kind of problem with him. She states that she doesn’t want to marry him or anyone else right now. ““What do I need to do? Spell it out in little cherry stems for you?” she jeers. He feels as though he deserves an explanation. She counters that he deserves a slap in the face. A perturbed Nick wonders what her problem is, since he believes she should be flattered by his proposal. Chelsea remarks that Nick isn’t acting like himself and advises him to literally get his head examined. He says he’ll get an MRI after their wedding. “We’’re not getting married!” she exclaims. “Well I am getting married tonight with or without you!” he asserts. She sarcastically gives her congratulations before storming off. The other three musketeers watch from afar. Jett proceeds to go check on Chelsea. Stephanie warns Jeremy that it's over between them if she finds out that he lied about the girl. He ditches her again to take care of some so-called business, which leaves Stephanie in a huff.

Jeremy later approaches Nick at the bar and wonders why he looks so bummed, especially after winning 50 G’s. Nick says he had a huge fight with Chelsea. Surprisingly, Jeremy apologizes. Nick is determined to enjoy himself with his pocketful of cash. Jeremy advises Nick to invest his money rather than throw it away. He asks Nick if he’d like to double his cash in a couple of weeks. Nick is intrigued by Jeremy’s proposition and questions what he’d be investing in. Jeremy replies it would be upscale clothing. Nick displays skepticism and then wishes Jeremy good luck before leaving. He Stephanie at a table and fills her in on Jeremy’s attempt to reel him in on his get rich quick scheme. Nick cautions her that he doesn’t trust Jeremy. Stephanie spies Jeremy leaving and blows off Nick to follow her selfish boyfriend. A beautiful woman in a red dress sits down next to Nick and wonders if he wants to buy her a drink. Nick complies and introduces himself. The woman introduces herself as China Lee, noting that China was where she was conceived. She refers to “Nicky” as really funny.

Ilsa visits Max, who claims that he paid a nice chunk of change for 30 minutes of her time. He implores her to come inside if she doesn’t want him to call and complain. Ilsa reluctantly enters the hotel suite after Max threatens to call her boss. She gets the wrong idea and asks if he has protection. Max states he just wants to talk to her. She’s puzzled by his request. Max then brings up Jeremy, to which she replies that she doesn’t get paid to talk. Max warns her that Jeremy’s bad news and tries to convince her they’re on the same side. Ilsa claims she met Jeremy in a bar, which of course Max doesn’t buy. He continues his round of questions and threatens to call immigration if she doesn’t start cooperating. Ilsa swaps the phone from Max and claims she can’t go back. She reveals she’s from Slovakia. Max then wonders if Jeremy ever mentioned a guy by the name of “Ky Rawlings.” (Isn’t it Ty?) Jeremy then walks in and catches them together and asks Ilsa if she’s okay. “What, you think that I’d hurt her? No, that’s your job,” replies Max. Jeremy insists he’d never lay a finger on her and apologizes to Ilsa. Max goads her out the door, then confronts Jeremy that he knows he’s running more than designer knock-offs. Stephanie then interrupts them and wonders what’s going on. Max warns Jeremy that he won’t let up until he uncovers the whole story, then storms out. Stephanie asks what Max is talking about. Jeremy blows it off as Max being a drama queen.

A gloating Nick later introduces China Lee as the future Mrs. Nick Fallon to Jett and Chelsea. He rubs it in Chelsea’s face that he wants to spend the rest of his life with China Lee and isn’t the type of guy who waits around.
