At the Brady Pub, Chelsea daydreams of nearly kissing Jett, falling into his arms out of the hot tub, and calling it quits with Nick. She exits out the back of the pub just as Jett and Danielle enter the front. They sit down at a table, where Danielle warns Jett to be careful, since he’s already in way too deep. She berates herself for letting Chelsea overhear her on the phone with Mark. Jett assures her that he got the Oscar for acting devastated when Chelsea revealed that Danielle’s already married. Danielle worries what will happen if Chelsea spots them together. Jett says she won’t, since she’s too busy being upset about Nick and is off somewhere licking her wounds and being dramatic. Danielle wonders if Jett is still going to use her. She then gets a call and Jett excuses himself to grab some drinks. He is startled when Chelsea approaches him and admits she was just thinking about him. Chelsea apologizes for flipping out and storming off in Vegas. She then stutters as she brings up the conversation they had in the hot tub. Jett cuts her off, claiming he doesn’t have time right now. Chelsea apologizes for intruding. Jett apologizes for blowing her off and asks to discuss it later with her. Danielle then appears and is startled to see Chelsea, who refers to herself as an idiot. Danielle claims she and Jett are still friends, which Chelsea can’t believe after what Danielle supposedly did to him. Chelsea implores them to spill what’s going on. Danielle claims she’s a happily married woman and Jett is friends with her husband. Jett backs up her story. Chelsea surmises that they were never engaged at all. Danielle urges Jett to spill the truth, but Chelsea says she could care less and walks out. Danielle warns Jett that he needs to tell Chelsea the truth before she blabs to anyone else. “And frankly at this point, she deserves to know,” adds Danielle.

Back in Vegas, Nick is passed out on the floor of the suite with clothing scattered around him. He slowly wakes up disoriented and then remembers winning 50 grand at the casino. He hides his winnings in his pockets as he hears a noise outside the door. He is stunned when a beaten and bloody Max falls into his arms.

Nick later tends to an injured Max, who reveals that two guys took him away from the casino at gunpoint and beat the crap out of him. Max jokes that he pissed off the wrong people. Nick suggests calling the cops and getting Max to the ER, but Max balks at this idea. Max then informs Nick of the side business he has going with Jeremy but insists it’s no big deal. He briefs Nick on Rawlings and surmises that the goons who beat him up work for the above mentioned loser. Nick notes that the name Rawlings sounds familiar. Max mentions Ilsa, who is scared to death. Nick speculates that Jeremy’s involved with the shipping of drugs. Max asserts that he’s determined to find out what’’s going on and see that Jeremy gets what’s coming to him. Nick insists they need to figure out exactly what kind of drugs Jeremy is into, especially since Stephanie and Chelsea are working for him. Nick figures that Max getting beat up was a friendly warning for him to stay out of Jeremy’s mess. Max refuses to back down if Jeremy is using his money to fund something illegal. “I still think we should call the cops,” states Nick. Max tells him to forget it, then wonders where Chelsea and everyone else is. Nick surmises they’re headed back to Salem, and wonders if Jett is involved. Nick demurs that he and Chelsea had a fight, which Jett was part of. Nick recounts the last 24 hours to Max, which include being on the beach with Chelsea, then somehow ending up at Lucas and Sami’s place with a bomb. The next thing he knew, he was on a plane to Vegas. Nick insists he needs to find Chelsea and fix things if she’ll give him a chance. Max tries to assure Nick that he’ll work things out with Chelsea. Nick doubts it since he claims he screwed up pretty badly. They both express how they wish they could rewind the day and start over. Max then jokes about girls having twins, which stirs Nick’s memory. He remembers the call he received, which revealed that Lucas is the father of Sami’s twins. Max is puzzled, since the test proved EJ was the father. Nick confesses that he had to fake a test, but doesn’t have time to explain the details to an appalled Max. Nick insists that his first priority is to go back to Salem and tell Lucas and Sami the truth.

Bo and Lexie appear on the riverfront awaiting Andre’s arrival. “Good little puppet does exactly as a master says, no questions asked,” replies Bo as Lexie wonders if he’ll show. Bo reminds a nervous Lexie that John arranged it so it would appear as though the text message came from Stefano. Bo assures Lexie she will be safe in this trap to catch Andre. “Cause in the first place, Abe will kick my butt,” he adds. Bo and his men then go hide. “Okay you son of a bitch. Come and get me,” bristles Lexie. Tony, who she believes is really Andre (it gets a bit confusing as to who’s who) meets Lexie and says he received Stefano’s message. She thanks him for coming and claims this is what Stefano wanted. He notices her looking around and wonders why. He suspiciously questions an apprehensive Lexie if she’s setting him up. She denies it. “I don’t believe anything that’s coming out of that pretty little mouth of yours,” he daunts. Bo and his men confront “Andre” and arrest him. “Andre” insists they are making a mistake. Bo warns him that he’s going away for a long time. “Wait a minute. I’m not Andre! I’m Tony DiMera!” he declares. Bo and Lexie are skeptical. Bo wonders why Lexie would work for the DiMeras especially after they locked her in a tunnel. “Well how was I supposed to know that? I’ve been stuck on an island for 20 years!” he exclaims. Tony says he remembers that Lexie was a DiMera and did Stefano’s dirty work before. “You’re the one doing Stefano’’s dirty work!” counters Lexie. He continues to insist that he’s Tony and warns Bo that Stefano will get away with destroying his family. Bo tells an adamant “Andre” to save his breath. “Andre” then brings up an opera he once saw with Bo and Hope and wonders how Andre could remember the details.
