Trent wants Nicole to find out why Max is in France. Max encounters someone from his past in France. Steph an old boyfriend of Melanie's and questions him. A young man approaches Max outside the French bistro.

Daniel forbids Chelsea from seeing Victor. Morgan is distraught over Philip's shooting. Kate falls apart upon seeing Philip. Roman questions John and suspects him of setting the whole ordeal up. E.J. has good news for Ava and John. Hope presses Bo for answers. Victor flatlines after Kate reveals that Philip was shot. Philip has a ruptured abdominal aorta and needs a blood transfusion.

Steve and Kayla agree to testify at Ava's trial. Bo confesses to Steve that he covered up evidence. Ava suggests to John that they skip bail and leave the country. Philip invites Morgan to come home with him.
