Daniel and Chelsea arrive at the Brady house, where Chelsea gives her little sister a hug and raves how prettier she gets every time she sees her. Chelsea wasnt aware her grandma would be there. Caroline remarks how Hope is working late, so she thought she would fix Bo and Ciara some dinner. She assures Chelsea that theres plenty of food left. Daniel thanks her. Caroline encourages them to sit down and relax. Bo, who isnt exactly jumping for joy at the sight of Daniel, offers them drinks and they take two waters. Daniel and Chelsea ask questions at the same time. Bo mentions how the Salem P.D. gets spread pretty thin during the summer and the crime rates seem to go up, so Hope thought shed get some overtime in. He asks how Victors doing. Daniel says hes stable and sleeping comfortably. Bo excuses himself to make a phone call.
Daniel follows Bo into the other room, where Bo asks the doctor if hes looking for something. Daniel urges Bo to deal with his family business with Victor on his own so he wont cause Victors blood pressure to go up. Otherwise, hell put Bo back in the hospital and tag a permanent Do not disturb sign on his door. My patients, my rules, he asserts.
Caroline later wonders what Bo and Daniel are discussing, noting how serious they look. Chelsea believes it has to do with Victor and shares how worried Daniel is about both Bo and Victor.
Meanwhile, Bo is taken aback by Daniels assertiveness and says he appreciates Daniels advice, but claims hes doing just fine. Daniel urges him to take it easy, then answers a phone call. Chelsea emerges and wonders whats going on. Bo refers to Daniel as an overly concerned doctor, which isnt a bad thing. Daniel gets off the phone and informs Bo and Chelsea that Victors monitor readouts have been analyzed. He notes that every time Bo or Philip goes into Victors room, his blood pressure seems to skyrocket through the roof. He announces that they are locking down Victors room.
Chelsea later raves about a cute little girl at her job. Caroline surmises that Chelseas found her calling and that shes obviously good with the kids. Chelsea admits she enjoys being around them and invites Bo and Caroline to come down sometime. Caroline says shed like that. Yeah, so would I. That is if the good doc thinks my fragile bones can handle it, he jokes. Chelsea advises Bo to listen to Daniel. Daniel then proceeds to go look at an apartment and invites Chelsea to come with him. She accepts, but wants to help clean up a bit first. Caroline assures her that she and Bo can handle it, but Chelsea tells her not to be ridiculous. Daniel hugs Caroline and thanks her for dinner, then leaves. Bo proceeds to head out for a walk, but goes to check on Ciara when she calls for her mommy. Chelsea asks Caroline if she knows whats wrong with her dad.
Chelsea and Caroline later discuss Bo. Chelsea doesnt feel that Bos in the right frame of mind. She proceeds to call Daniel and get the address of the apartment from him. She hopes that over time Bo will eventually accept her relationship with Daniel. Caroline says that Bos just being protective, especially with all thats going on. Chelsea wonders whats going on and questions if it has to do with the Paul Hollingsworth case. Caroline assures her that no matter whats going on, she and Bo love her with all of their hearts. I love you too, smiles Chelsea.
Bo comes back downstairs after Chelsea leaves. Caroline is reluctant to give him advice regarding Daniel and Chelsea. Bo assumes that she wants him to keep an open mind. He admits that Daniel and Chelsea have some issues. Caroline reminds him that he and Hope werent exactly a surefire bet. He receives a phone call from Abe, revealing that they found something on the Paul Hollingsworth case.
Kate later finds Daniel on the rooftop of the apartment building, where he asks her what she thinks. Bad timing, she responds. He refers to it as an amazing view and thinks Chelsea will like it. Kate believes its pretty perfect. Perfectly twisted, he counters. Kate refers to him as a good man who will make the right decision. Daniel believes if he was really a good man, he wouldnt be in this position. It was a waste of time, wasnt it? she reflects. No. It was a hell of a time, he admits. Kate believes they need to stay in the moment and asks him to promise not to hurt Chelsea. I would rather die, he declares. They both agree that Chelsea can never know what happened.
Morgan and Philip later arrive at the station, where Abe cautions her not to jump to conclusions before he reveals some news. Morgan utters that it doesnt sound good. Abe reveals that they found her fathers jacket floating in the river. Morgans eyes well up with tears.
Max sleeps by Stephanie and slowly wakes up as the train continues to travel through France. He quietly gets dressed so he doesnt disturb Steph.
Steph later wakes up to find a stranger sitting beside her. A frightened Steph calls for Max. The stranger says something in French and Steph has a brief flashback to her horrid encounter with Ford. He talks about France and a horrified Steph reaches into her purse. She gets out of bed and points her pepper spray at the stranger and orders him to go. After more talk he finally leaves a daunted Steph.
Max arrives back in the sleeper car with coffee, juice, pastries, and fresh fruit. He asks if anything exciting happened while he was gone. She reveals that she stopped a pickpocket from stealing her wallet. Are you kidding me? asks a stunned Max. She displays her pepper spray to Max and says she didnt even have to use it. Max insists that they need to report the guy to the conductor. Steph says she did, but the conductor told her it happens all the time. Max is relieved shes safe. She thanks him for breakfast and kisses him. He tells her how beautiful she looks. She jokes that hes biased, but he tells her hes totally objected. She says thank you very much in French as she eats the pastry. Max smiles with excitement at meeting his biological sister and having the love of his life by his side.
