- Philip comforts Morgan over her missing father.

- A blackout hits Salem.
- Marlena makes an appearance at John's 4th of July party and inquires about the disk.
- Ava sneaks into the lab and takes the disk.
- Ava urges John to throw the disk away, while Marlena begs him not to.
- John breaks the disk into pieces.
- John disheartens Marlena when he tells her that the John she once loved is dead.
- Lucas removes his ankle monitor and goes to see Chloe at the Salem Inn.
