Meanwhile, Roman fills Steve in on Chelseas disappearance. An incredulous Steve wonders where she couldve gone. Roman insists they need to find her fast. He offers to tell Hope, while Steve gets the others together to start searching. Roman breaks the news to Hope, Philip, Victor, and Caroline. He assures them that hospital securitys on top of it and Steve has the others on the search. Caroline offers to go look for her as well, but Roman tells her to stay put just in case Chelsea returns. Hope proceeds to check on Bo as Victor and Caroline hold hands.
Daniel and Lexie are in the lab re-evaluating everything. Kayla brings them the pancreatic study.
Chelsea sneaks into Bos room and lies down beside him and hugs him. Daddy Im so sorry that I let you down, she cries. Chelsea brings up the day when Bo and Billie first told her that they were her parents. She regrets being a brat back then and tearfully apologizes for still acting like one. Its just, that day I felt, like everything Id ever known was just gone, and I wasnt Chelsea Benson anymore, she recalls. She marvels how she has the most amazing parents and wouldnt trade that for anything in the world. She vows to be there for him, since he was there for her even when she didnt deserve it. Chelsea professes to love Bo more than anything in this world. Please, please tell me that Im not too late, she quivers. She admits how scared she is, but its worth it if it saves him. Hope sees Chelsea with Bo through the window and motions to Daniel.
Outside the room, Hope notes to Daniel how much Chelsea loves her daddy. Daniel displays a syringe to Hope and asks her if she believes in luck or fate. Daniel and Hope enter Bos room, where Chelsea apologizes and insists that she just wanted to see her dad. Hope gently informs her that everyones been looking for her. Chelsea notes the syringe and asks if its something which can save her dad. Daniel hopes it can buy Bo a little time and asks Lexie and Kayla to get Chelsea another blood screen. Lexie offers to take care of it. I love you, Chelsea professes to Bo. Hope lies beside Bo and kisses his cheek tenderly.
In another cubicle, Chelsea apologizes for causing so much trouble. Lexie proceeds to take another sample of Chelseas blood and hopes they can save Bo in time. Afterwards, she takes Chelseas blood to the lab and urges her not to go anywhere. Lexie encounters Steve and fills him in on the situation. Victor approaches Steve and congratulates him on Kaylas pregnancy. Steve admits how lucky he feels to get the opportunity watch his child grow up and have a second chance. They both hope that Bo has a second chance.
Daniel later notes that Bos heart rate is a little stronger and faster and his glucose levels have dropped slightly, which is encouraging. Hope assumes that the medicine is working. For the time being, says Daniel. An irritated Kayla wonders if it would hurt for Daniel to be a little more positive. A groggy Bo later wakes up and tells his sister to stop looking at him like that. A relieved Kayla assumes he must be feeling better. Bo admits he could use something to drink, but Kayla apologizes that he cant. She recalls how he got his first motorcycle because her first boyfriend named Rick, Randy, or Roy had one. She encourages him to just get better.
Marlena later thanks John for helping her look for Chelsea and admits that shes glad hes there. She refers to his presence as a comfort, just like when they were together before. We were that good, huh? he assumes. We were better, than you could even imagine, she marvels, which is why its so hard to see him declare war on the Kiriakis family. Nonetheless, John vows to do whatever it takes to gain control and asserts that it beats the hell out of being a madmans pawn. Philip interrupts the tense moment and says he came over to find out any news on Chelsea. Marlena shakes her head no.
Philip approaches Kate in the lobby and realizes that hes been to the hospital so much that hes actually starting to enjoy the coffee. Kate asks Phil if hes been feeling alright since the plane crash. Phil jokes how shes looking at his leg and admits that his new leg has taken a little getting used to, but he likes it. Kate notes that hes so matter of fact about it, which elicits a smile from Philip.
Youre not naked, are you? asks Steph before she and Max enter Chelseas cubicle. Chelsea admits she shouldve stayed in her cubicle and didnt mean to worry everyone. She informs them that Lexies checking her B.A.C. again. Steph wonders when the doctors think shell be ready. Chelsea says her body is purging all the alcohol and hopes that she can save her dad in time. Max tries to assure her that she didnt do it on purpose. Chelsea admits how scared she is that her dad might not make it through this and will blame herself. Steph reminds her when they went to St. Lukes and prayed together before and encourages them to pray again. Max is the first to say a prayer.
A smiling Hope re-enters Bos room as Daniel and Kayla go over his charts. Daniel takes Hope outside the room and hopes that theyll get some good news regarding Chelseas B.A.C. screening. Hope believes that Chelsea will come through. In the lab, Lexie rushes out to share the results with the family members. In the lobby, everyone anxiously awaits. John tells Marlena that the crowd is making him jumpy. Marlena reminds him that he and Bo were once very close. Lexie tells Chelsea that she needs to get her into pre-op. Chelsea happily realizes that her blood is clear. Lexie enters Bos room and shares the good news. Daniel gives pre-op instructions, but Lexie says its taken care of. Hope assures Bo that hes going to make it.
