Alright DAYS fans if you haven't got a hot date for Friday night (4/28/06), don't worry, because this is one Friday night you'll want to stay home. Just before 8:00 PM ET/PT, hop into your favorite jammies, grab yourself a fun snack (popcorn, ice cream, chips) and tune into the 33rd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards show on your local ABC station.

Bringing Back the Good ol' DAYS?
It’s official! Days of our Lives has struck a deal with Mary Beth Evans and Stephen Nichols which will bring back one of the most infamous and beloved super couples in daytime history, Steve Johnson/Patch and Kayla Brady. Mary Beth Evans and Stephen Nichols are set to reappear (although outside Salem at first) during the second and third week of June 2006.

In an unprecedented move all nine US daytime soap operas on ABC, CBS and NBC have come together to highlight the AIDS crisis in Africa. The campaign called "Daytime Unites for Africa" was created by Sofia Landon Geier, a writer for Days of our Lives in cooperation with the Daytime heads at each network.

DAYS gets Trump'd by the Donald
Donald Trump will be in the DAYS studio on Friday (9/16), but fans will have to wait until Monday, October 24th to see "The Donald." The cameo will have Trump exiting a meeting with Mickey and bumping into Nicole. Trump will be making mention of the 40th anniversary of the "Horton Foundation" aka: Days of our Lives 40th anniversary which will occur November 8th.

National Nine News in Australia is reporting that Thaao Penghlis aka Tony DiMera, has met with Marc Cherry creater of ABC's hit series Desperate Housewives. Penghlis' commented that, "It's certainly on the horizon." No word if his apperance would be a major or guest role.
