Soap Opera Digest reports that another Alamain is coming to Salem this fall. Michael Sabatino is returning as Lawrence Alamain, which his real-life wife Crystal Chappell (Dr. Carly Manning) confirmed on a Twitter post. Long time fans may recall that Michael portrayed the devilish Lawrence Alamain from 1990 until 1993.

TV Guide Magazine is reporting that Daytime Emmy Award-winner Crystal Chappell is returning to the show as Dr. Carly Manning, a.k.a. Katerina Von Leuschner. As long-time DAYS fans recall, the lovely actress portrayed Carly from June 1990 until October 1993. Incidentally, she is married to former co-star Michael Sabatino (ex-Lawrence Alamain). Crystal has portrayed Olivia Spencer on CBS's Guiding Light since 1999. She begins taping in September and will first air in October.
Viewers saw Crystal Chappell's first airdate as Carly on Friday, October 2.
