Belle arrives at Bo and Hopes house and is astonished by how beautifully decorated the place is for the upcoming wedding. She claims to Hope that she doesnt deserve it.
Hope later fixes chamomile tea for Belle and mentions how soothing it is when life gets out of whack. She reminds Belle how shes known and loved her since Belle was a little girl and tomorrow she and Shawn are finally getting married. Belle gets teary-eyed and professes to love Shawn. Hope says she knows, but questions why she turned to Philip in the first place. Belle tries to assure Hope that Philips out of her life and Shawns the man she wants to be with. Hope suspects that Shawn set the date and Belle just simply went along with it. Belle admits shell always feel guilty about her indiscretion. Hope implies that settling for less would be unfair to her and to Shawn. So what? You want me just to cancel it? wonders an upset Belle as she enters the kitchen. Hope implores Belle to be absolutely sure this is what she wants to do. If shes not sure, Hope offers to help her bow out gracefully. Belle professes that she wants to be a family with Shawn more than anything and swears that the whole Philip ordeal is in the past. Hope hugs her and then lets it slip that she told Kayla about her affair with Philip. Belle is astonished and wonders who else shes told. She blasts Hope for spilling the beans to Kayla. Hope refuses to defend what she did and reminds Belle how theyve both made choices. Belle cries how shes never felt more alone in her whole life and is in disbelief that Hope told Kayla. She whines how the whole family will probably be there tomorrow judging her. Hope reiterates how she promised not to tell Shawn. She hugs a weepy Belle and assures her that tomorrow will be a beautiful day.
Later, Hope displays a huge present from Alice. Belle thanks Hope for the whole wedding and for keeping her secret. She remarks how amazing it is that Hope still has any respect left for her. Youre more daughter than daughter-in-law Honey, says Hope, who admits how thrilled she and Bo are that Shawn and Belle are getting married there tomorrow and having the reception at the Brady Pub. They chuckle how the celebration cant get more Brady than that. Hope then officially welcomes Belle into the Brady family.
Belle later looks at her wedding plaque, which states, Belle and Shawn Brady, Love and Laughter, Happily Ever After 2007. She cant seem to get Philip out of her head, though.
Philip is drowning his sorrows at the Cheatin Heart when a beautiful brunette approaches him and sits down next to him. She suggests he buy her a beer and shell make him forget all about whats her name in return. Philip blows her off and she walks away. Talk about the one that got away, notes Max as he works the bar. He advises Philip to test the waters, since hes not hooking up with anyone. Philip hypothetically supposes that he brings a hot girl home and asks her to help him with his prosthetic leg. Thats when she remembers that she has to go home and feed the cat, he adds. Max reminds him that he got wounded in combat and earned two purple hearts and suggests he tell a girl about that. He claims he doesnt even remember Belle having a problem with his leg, then walks off. Belles the only woman who sees me for who I really am, declares Philip.
Philip later raves to Max how special Belle is and how she didnt see him for a Kiriakis. Max urges Philip to ease up and find another lady to get to know. Max concludes that Philips not over his ex. Philip assumes that Max is standing up for Shawn tomorrow and believes it might be a good idea if he shuts up about Belle.
Morgan later arrives and displays a poster of Ford the date rapist to Max. Max remarks how the dean should be shot for letting the creep walk. Morgan rants how Ford drugs women and takes advantage of them, then wonders around campus like he has bragging rights. Max forewarns her that since no charges have been brought up against Ford and his dads a lawyer, she could be sued for libel by posting Fords picture all over the place. Morgan says it was Chelseas idea, who offered to take the heat. Max cautions her to be careful, since Ford Decker could turn dangerous. Morgan admits how sweet Maxs concern is. They share a smooch as Philip clings his glass needing some service. He requests another round, but Max suggests its time to close out his tab.
Max goes back over to Morgan, who wonders if he has any Thanksgiving plans and invites him to meet her parents. He thanks her for the invitation, but he has the Brady Turkey Day and wedding tomorrow to attend. He wonders if Morgans a bit jealous, since Steph will be there. Morgan admits she is and give him a Happy Thanksgiving kiss before departing. Philip then pounds on the bar demanding something strong. Max suggests he hand over his car keys and hell call a cab for him. A tipsy Philip claims he has a driver outside, whos paid to wait there. Phil refers to Max as a downer as Max brings him coffee. Philip reminds Max how he has a life most men would kill to have. Max wonders what the problem is. Philip insists theres only one woman who can fill the empty bar stool next to him, but he cant have her. He then makes toast to being alone.
Max later sits down with Philip and jests how he can hardly feel sorry for him, since he has his chauffeur outside along with a mansion containing million dollar antiques. Max remarks how hes working his butt off trying to get out of debt and wonders if Phil would like to trade places with him. Philip admits he got lucky being born with a silver spoon in his mouth, but states that luck comes with a price. Max admits hed kill for Phils kind of luck, no matter what the price is. He rehashes how he used to live on the street with no limos or private jets to help him out. Philip admits to himself that hed trade it all for Belle.
Philip proceeds to head out and leaves Max a huge tip for listening to him mouth off all night. He then gets a call from Belle, who insists she needs to see him. He tells her to meet him at his office and take the private elevator.
