Billie later applies ice to Chelsea’s hand and insists they need to get her an x-ray. Morgan brings fresh ice as well. Billie attempts to discourage the girls from their campaign against Ford. “Mom, if we stop now, Ford is going to win again,” predicts Chelsea. Billie suggests she can put someone on the case and talk to Abe Carver about it. Chelsea whines how Abe can’t do anything, since Ford’s dad has the D.A. in his pocket.
Cordy later expresses how she wishes she could be strong like the other girls. Stephanie then invites Cordy to stay at her mom’s place for the holiday weekend. Cordy reluctantly accepts. Morgan and Carmen proceed to take Cordy back to the house and help her pack. Steph predicts to Chelsea that if they stop now, he’ll hurt someone else. She has a flashback to Ford attacking her, then predicts that the next girl may not be as lucky as Cordy.
Shawn arrives at his mom and dad’s house and is amazed at how beautifully decorated the place is for the wedding. He hugs his mom in delight and thanks her, remarking how he and Belle finally made it to the finish line.
The mood is lightened as Hope brings Shawn pretzels to go along with his beer. He asks what’s for dinner. Hope replies whatever he can scrounge up, reminding him that she’s not a very good cook. They agree to call for a pizza. She then warns him that hard times come with a marriage and a good relationship takes a lot of work.
Bo soon arrives home bearing tuxedos and notes that they started the party without him. Shawn asks if they’re sure they don’t mind if he spends the night. Bo playfully warns Shawn to be careful, since he suspects Hope will be pulling out pictures of Shawn in his diaper soon. Shawn laughs as he shows Bo how she already did. Bo wonders where Belle’s staying. Shawn reveals that she and Claire are staying with Marlena. Hope asks Shawn to try on his tux. After he leaves the room, Bo notes how happy Shawn seems. Hope then admits she slipped and told Belle about revealing the big secret to Kayla. The Bradys quietly argue about Shawn, Philip, and Belle. Bo believes that Belle won’t break Shawn’s heart, since she’s spent most of her life loving him.
Hope then recalls how strained things were with Belle before she left earlier, even though Hope officially welcomed her into the family. She admits she probably shouldn’t have said anything, but wanted to give Belle the opportunity to back out. Bo suggests he and Hope just be happy, since the family needs a happy day tomorrow. Hope mutters how she hopes Philip doesn’t ruin the wedding. Shawn comes back downstairs dressed in his tux and tells his mom to relax., insisting that Philip can’t ruin anything. Hope is amazed at how handsome Shawn looks, but he discourages her from changing the subject. He says Philip was invited, but Belle told him to stay away. Bo offers to un-invite Philip, but Shawn states that it’s his job to draw the line with Philip. Bo suggests he wait until tomorrow when he says his vows, admitting that he’s been wanting to slap Philip around for a while anyway. Hope insists on calling him, but Shawn reiterates that he can handle the guy.
Philip is doing business on the phone at Titan when Belle arrives. She notes that he’s busy and proceeds to leave, but he moves in and kisses her on the cheek. They are interrupted by his phone, which prompts Belle to gaze in the other direction. He tells his assistant Donna to hold all his calls. Belle offers to go, but Philip claims he just got un-busy. Belle reveals that Hope told Kayla their little secret and deduces that Kayla probably told Steve. Philip just smiles and refers to it as predictable. Belle then claims she can’t get married tomorrow in front of all those people. Philip advises her to do what’s right in her heart and don’t let other people stop her. He then proceeds to get back to work, but Belle isn’t budging. She cuts off his phone call and tells him not to ignore her. He states he’s busy and doesn’t have time to fix her problems with Shawn’s mother. She sneers how coming there was an obvious mistake. “Being together is never a mistake, Belle,” he counters. Belle suggests she should just tell Shawn, but Philip advises against this. She claims she’s confused and ashamed all over again because Hope brought up their indiscretion again the night before the wedding. She whines how Philip’s her only friend, but it’s not right. “Don’t insult me by calling us friends,” he implores.
Philip then sits her down and admits that when she called, he thought she was coming to tell him the wedding was off. “Marrying Shawn is a huge mistake,” he insists. She sarcastically thanks him for the support. He tells her to stop acting like a brat. “You want Shawn and you want me waiting in the wings, like a kid who can’t decide what toy she wants to play with next,” he argues. “If I’m such a brat, why even bother with me?” she wonders. “Because I love you and you’re better than this,” he replies. She surmises that Phil’s mad because she chose Shawn. He implores her to get married and leave him out of it. He questions why her heart is racing and deduces that she couldn’t just walk out the door if she wanted to. He insists there’s more passion between them than she’s ever had with Shawn. “You’re so close to kissing me that it scares you to death,” he whispers as he inches closer to her. She tells him to stop and claims she’s loved Shawn for years. He moves in for a steamy kiss. They get hot and heavy and fall onto the floor, then are interrupted by a call from Shawn. A breathless Philip goes over to his phone and answers it. Shawn orders him to not come to the wedding and warns him that his family will be ready if he tries anything. A smug Philip tells him good luck tomorrow. He is startled to turn around and discover that Belle has suddenly left.
