Max and Stephanie work at the bar at the Cheatin’ Heart after a day of Save the Earth projects. Steph gets defensive when a guy orders a Virgin Sex on the Beach, so Max mixes it up for him on the house.
Meanwhile, Chelsea opens a letter to Nick which he received from the ambassador of Artemis and DeMarquette’s country. Chelsea is in awe that the ambassador wants to throw an embassy ball in Nick’s honor. Nick invites Chelsea to go with him. She answers him with a kiss. Jett interrupts their hot moment and informs them that Ford Decker may end up getting away with rape.
Nick and Chelsea sit down with Jett as he reveals that not only did Ford Decker’s dad bail him out of jail, but his father’s a top lawyer with major connections. Jett surmises that the D.A. is probably dropping the changes right now. He warns that Cordy had better be ready, since there will be a lot of pressure on the dean and disciplinary board. Chelsea fumes that if Max wouldn’t have gotten in time to Morgan, Ford would’ve raped her. Jett says that Ford claims everything was consensual and Cordy’s testimony is all they have. Nick and Chelsea assure Jett that they’ll make sure Cordy shows up for a meeting. Jett commends Nick for sticking by Artemis and DeMarquette, then leaves. Chelsea playfully notes how impressed she is with Nick too. He jests how he has the looks, the bod, and the girl. She implores him to shut up and kiss her. He is more than happy to oblige.
Steph takes a moment at the bar to read and wonders how Max can remember everything that goes into the drinks. Max playfully suggests that she stand back, since she might get burned by his brilliance. She smiles as he puts her arm around her and refers to her as gorgeous, suggesting they’d make a good team behind the bar. She shows off her ability to tie a cherry stem in a knot with her tongue and invites him to try. He then spies Morgan enter and rushes over toward her, to Steph’s dismay.
Max approaches Morgan and notes that she hasn’t answered his phone calls. She claims she didn’t really want to talk, since she’s feeling embarrassed. She berates herself for driving Ford home and escorting him to his room even after Max warned her. Morgan gives him the opportunity to say ‘I told you so.’ Max says he’s not that type of guy. She laments not listening to the warning signs about Ford. He admits he’s glad she didn’t get hurt. “Thanks to you,” she emphasizes. Modest Max claims he had help and is astonished when Morgan reveals that people are actually taking Ford’s side regarding his attack on Cordy. “Yeah, and people wonder why women are so afraid to come forward and report a rape,” remarks Morgan. She vows to make sure that Ford finds out how strong their sisterhood really is if he comes anywhere near Cordy. Stephanie interrupts Max and summons him back to work. Morgan kisses him on the cheek and says it’s for being a real man.
Ford then approaches Stephanie at the bar and notes the room is full of partying sorority women. Steph is speechless by his presence as he yells if she can hear him, which attracts attention from the crowd. “We don’t serve pigs!” asserts Stephanie. “That a girl,” chimes Ashley. “Get back to your pen, Porky!” admonishes Steph. An angry Ford throws a glass down on the floor and breaks it. “Not until you serve me like the weight slave you are,” demands Ford. Max approaches the jerk and stands up to him, threatening to throw him through the door if he doesn’t walk out. “Too bad for you I don’t take orders from grease monkey grunts with the bar rag,” snarks Ford. Max grabs Ford, but Nick deters Max and warns him that one punch will be all it takes for Ford to change him with assault. Max flies off the handle and is constrained by Jett, who tells Chelsea to call 911. Ford announces that he’s leaving, but will be back to celebrate real soon, insisting to everyone that he’s not going anywhere. “Especially not to jail,” he adds.
Behind the bar, Max asks Stephanie if she’s alright. She admits she went blank initially upon seeing Ford and didn’t know what to say. He commends her on the way she handled Ford and offers to cover for her the rest of the night. She thanks him for everything and hugs him.
Chelsea later remarks to Morgan how Ford sucked the life out of the party. Morgan laments not taking action when Ford was there. Chelsea suggests they sit down and relax. She makes an announcement before the crowd about the environmentally safe products and states that nobody can take one unless they’re having a good time. This elicits cheers from the crowd. She thanks them for cleaning up the lake and planting all the trees, among other environmentally conscious stuff. She announces the good news that they got the houses on campus to sign a pledge. Thus, they’re going to bring energy consumption down by ten percent next semester. The crowd applauds Chelsea.
Steph later dances among the crowd and watches Max and Morgan flirt behind the bar. As Ford lurks outside, she has flashbacks to him attacking her.
Sami holds her baby boy at home and remarks how she wishes she could’ve seen the look on EJ’s face when he arrived at Steve and Kayla’s quarantined suite with the court order. Lucas notes that EJ is pushing even harder, which is what Lucas predicted. Sami encourages Lucas to enjoy holding their beautiful children for the moment.
They later cuddle on the couch together as Sami asks him to hold off on discussing the DiMeras and just enjoy the moment. Sami insists for the hundredth time that she has to marry EJ in order to end the vendetta so they can have a future. “I don’t know how to let you go,” expresses Lucas. They are interrupted by none other than Elvis, who announces that he’s selected from three honeymoon destinations. Sami is appalled and affirms that she’s not going away with him, reminding him that she has two newborns in the next room. EJ reveals that he’s been in touch with a nanny service, so a nanny could accompany them on their travels. “You have lost your mind,” declares Sami. Lucas quips how thoughtful EJ is being and inquires about his brochures.
