EJ raves about going to Tuscany, then suggests another beautiful place and shows a brochure to Lucas. Lucas gets in his sarcastic mode and insists that Sami nor the twins can be exposed to sun, then rips the brochure up. Sami smirks at Lucas’s actions.

Sami later wonders what the third destination is. “Well one can hardly go wrong with the most romantic city in the world when one’s planning a honeymoon,” implies EJ. “Beruit?” jokes Lucas. This response elicits laughter from Sami. EJ of course clarifies that he means Paris, then rips up the brochure. They sarcastically thank EJ for stopping by. EJ then demands his son. Sami says the twins are asleep. EJ could care less and presents them with a court order. Lucas and Sami refuse to hand the baby boy over to him. Sami implores EJ to have some common sense in regards to the twins, who are asleep and happy. She rehashes how he got what he wanted. He claims she did too, since her family’s safe and no other lives have been lost. “Except ours,” she concludes. He angrily urges her not to linger, insisting that everything she sees there is gone. Sami berates EJ for moving things too fast, rehashing how she lost her stepfather, gave birth to twins, and hopped on a plane to divorce the man she loves. EJ reveals that he jumped at the opportunity to schedule their wedding for tomorrow night.

Back at Shawn and Belle’s room, Shawn fumes about Philip playing dirty and proceeds to go after him. Shawn is stunned when Belle confesses that she wrote the letter. He of course asks her why. She gives him the ‘I just lost my dad’ excuse. Belle whines and cries about Shawn going out every day and putting on a gun and uniform. “So you killed my career behind my back?” he chastises. She boo-hoos about just burying her dad and thus writing the letter in a panic. She admits she regretted it as soon as she mailed it. “Belle, you were the one person in this world that I’m supposed to be able to trust. You’re supposed to be on my side,” he affirms. He tries to assure her that she’s not going to lose him and wonders why she didn’t just come to him before sending the letter. She claims she was afraid to and assumes that he now hates her. He professes that he could never hate her and insists there’s nothing she couldn’t do that he wouldn’t forgive. As he holds a weepy Belle, she has a flashback to her romp in the sack with Philip. Shawn professes that he loves her and wonders what she was thinking about. She claims she just feels bad and declares that she’s with him if he really wants to be a cop. Shawn proposes they make things official and set a wedding date. Belle stutters and give the excuses that they’re in debt, weddings cost money, her father just died, and they live over a pub.

Shawn assures his whiny fiancé that he’ll find a job soon and everything will work out. They rave about the possibilities for their wedding. He assures her that her dad will be watching. He claims it’s no big deal if she doesn’t want to marry him now. She insists she does want to marry him. He suggests Thanksgiving for a wedding date, since they’ve waited long enough. He jokes about honeymooning in the backseat of a car of her choice and implores her to say yes to his suggestion. As he hugs her, she has a flashback to Hope demanding that she cut Philip out of her life. Belle claims that it’s too soon for her mom and doubts that Bo and Hope will want her to marry him once they find out she wrote the letter. Shawn says he won’t tell them and coaxes her to say yes.

In Bo and Hope’s room Bo is outraged to learn from Hope that Belle slept with Philip. An angry Bo proceeds to go after Philip and insists that Shawn deserves to know the truth. Hope attempts to deter Bo from doing so, reminding him how Shawn took Phil’s head off before. Thus, the consequences will be much worse when Shawn finds out that Phil slept with Belle. Bo refuses to keep it a secret and wonders how Hope found out. She recounts the obvious clues and how Belle looked guilty as he!!. Bo is ever more outraged upon finding out that Belle and Philip’s romp happened in Shawn and Belle’s room. “Does she think she can get away with this?” wonders a bewildered Bo. “She says she wasn’t thinking straight because of John’s death,” replies Hope. Bo insists that Belle wasn’t thinking at all and wonders why Hope didn’t tell Shawn. “Because I was trying to protect our son, and salvage a relationship that means the world to him!” she exclaims. They conclude that if Shawn learns the truth, the end result will be much worse than the previous fight and thus Shawn’s chances of getting into the academy will be over. Nonetheless, Bo still proceeds to phone Shawn and tell him the truth. “Hang up Brady. We’re not through,” she implores. Bo fumes how Shawn loves Belle and has risked his life for her and this is the thanks he gets. Hope claims it will never happen again, but Bo is skeptical. Hope admits she’s worried that Shawn will be lost without Belle.

Bo puts the phone down and continues to insist that he has to tell Shawn, since he’ll eventually find out on his own. “No Kiriakis is going to get away with this,” vows Bo. Hope wonders if this is really about Shawn or Bo. He insists it has nothing to do with the Kiriakis family. Hope concludes that the truth will destroy Shawn, but Bo disagrees and claims that Shawn’s tougher than that. Hope reminds Bo how they all make mistakes and recalls how they’ve come close to losing each other numerous times, implying that he needs to keep his mouth shut. Bo admits it won’t be easy and he won’t be able to look at Belle in the same way.

Hope later plays with Ciara on the bed as Bo re-enters after taking his shower. The threesome enjoy a close moment until they are interrupted by the phone. Shawn summons them to come over to the pub right away so they can hear his news. Bo and Hope wonder aloud what Shawn has to tell them.

Bo and Hope later arrive at Shawn and Belle’s place. The tension is thick between Belle and her future in-laws. Shawn happily announces that they’re getting married on Thanksgiving Day. Bo and Hope are stunned speechless.
