Belle confesses her dirty little secret to Sami. EJ tells Stefano that he might be a father after all. Kate later arrives at the DiMera mansion and leaves a veiled threat to EJ.

Umar Abboud saves Nick and Chelsea and discovers that the bomb was a fake. Nick shares an emotional good-bye with the boys. Ford shows up drunk at the house with a date. Max suspects that Ford's the reason Cordy's dropping out of college. A distressed Stephanie shows up at her parents' suite in the middle of the night. Steve arranges for Adrienne to hire Stephanie at the Cheatin' Heart.

Kate reluctantly agrees to help EJ convince Lucas to divorce Sami. Sami has a terrifying nightmare and asserts that she's divorcing Lucas whether he likes it or not. Max grows more suspicious of Ford. Nick receives a call from Chelsea, who is being held hostage by a man who wants Artemis and DeMarquette. Chelsea warns Nick that a bomb will go off if she moves.

Bo tries to dissuade Shawn from entering the police academy, to no avail. Bo introduces Shawn to Commander Flynn from the academy. Philip confesses his love for Belle and kisses her just as Shawn enters the church. Sami goes into labor!

Grandpa Shawn proposes a toast to John. Steve, Kayla, and Philip later return to the hospital where Pocket has been returned. Belle and Sami announce their decision to move in with Marlena.

John is rushed to the hospital, where Dr. Berman gravely informs them that John's injuries are too extensive and thus won't make it through the night. Stefano asks Tony to run the DiMera empire. Sami tells EJ she'll marry him.

Shawn spies Lauren at the hospital and phones Philip, who races to the hospital to confront Lauren with Belle by his side. Lauren takes a tumble down the stairwell. Andre takes Hope hostage on the rooftop of the TV station. Bo shoots Andre, who falls off and is badly injured. Chelsea finally agrees to Stephanie's bachelor auction idea. Adrienne gives Max a job bartending at the Cheatin' Heart. Lucas witnesses a close moment between EJ and Sami. Stefano warns Steve he'll be spending the rest of his life behind bars. Roman and Sami share an emotional reunion. EJ asks Stefano to help him get rid of Lucas. Kayla arrives at the station.
