Several current and former Days of Our Lives stars attended the TV Animation and Daytime Programming Peer Group's Salute to the Nominees on August 27, 2009. Those stars in attendance who showed support for the Daytime Emmy nominees included Alison Sweeney (Sami), Nadia Bjorlin (Chloe), Brandon Beemer (ex-Shawn), Patrika Darbo (ex-Nancy), Taylor Spreitler (Mia), Terrell Ransom Jr. (Theo), Lauren Boles (Ciara), and Bryan Dattilo (Lucas). This event was held at the Television Academy in North Hollywood, California.
