Actor Galen Gering is best known for his role as Luis-Lopez Fitzgerald on the NBC defunct soap Passions, which he portrayed from 1999 until the series ended in 2008. He was born in Los Angeles and moved to New York City at the age of 18 to start a career in modeling. Galen graduated with honors in May of 1999 from the University of Miami, where he studied creative writing and film. In 2000, he was named as People Magazine's 50 most beautiful people.
Galen made his first DAYS appearance as FBI agent Rafael "Rafe" Hernandez on October 31, 2008. The handsome actor has been married to wife Jenna since 2000 and they have one son, Dillon Phoenix, born August 6, 2006. These photos date back to 2002, when he was on Passions.
